Chapter 6: Hanging Out

After I grabbed my stuff then Misaki and I walked out the front door to go hang out somewhere we didn't know where yet but I hope it's somewhere fun, I love fun places. As me and Misaki were walking to where ever it was we were going my ears flicked as I heard something come from behind us.

"What is that?" I asked.

"I don't know." Misaki said to me.

I heard the sound of a voice from behind us again my ears flickered again at the noise. But it didn't bother me so I continued to walk along side Misaki. Once we got to the place we were gonna hangout at which was a movie theater. Misaki looked over at me with a smile on his face I smiled shyly back at him my face a little red. We walked into the building then over to a line to get movie tickets, I seen the movie that I've been wanting to see for song ever since it came out.

"Misaki, look!!" I pointed to the movie I wanted to see.

"What?" he asked and looked over to where I was pointing.

"It's the movie I want to see!!" I said.

"What movie??" he asked.

"Midnight Sun!!" I screeched.

I looked and Misaki, he had covered his ears. I looked down at the ground sadly like I had hurt him or something.

"Misaki??" I asked.

"Yes Ruby?" he answered.

"Are you ok??" I asked him.

"Yea I'm fine." he smiled at me.

"Ok." I smiled back.

We got in line to get our movie tickets to see the movie. After we got them we went and got snacks then we headed to the movie theater.

"So why did you want to see this movie Ruby??" Misaki asked me.

"I've been wanting to see it since it came out into theaters." I told him.

"Oh well I hope your gonna enjoy it." he smiled.

I smiled back at him then the lights went dim and the movie started. About half way through the movie I started to feel really close to Misaki the movie felt really meaninful almost how my life was. I laid my head on his shoulder I didn't care how red my face was my head I wanted it to be on his shoulder, I felt comfort with him around I just wish he could be mine but I'm pretty sure he has a girlfriend. With my head being on Misaki shoulder I felt him move a bit I smiled a little then I asked him a question.

"Misaki?" I asked.

"Yes Ruby?" he said questioninly.

"I have a question I don't know if it will seem rude or not..." I told him awkwardly.

"Go ahead and ask I don't mind." he said.

"Misaki do you have a girlfriend?" I asked.

"Yes I do." he told me.

"O-Oh..." I said.

I sat there in complete silence because I was so ashamed to have a crush on him now that I knew he has a girlfriend I sighed a little bit. The movie was almost over it was close to the end then the credits started to play and the lights turned back on Misaki and I got up I stretched a little then we walked out he was carrying the popcorn. Once we got outside the sun blared brightly in the blue sky I squinted my eyes in the bright light my ears and tail swayed as a light breeze blew across them. Then I heard Misaki say my name.

"Yes Misaki?" I asked.

"Do you want to go get some lunch now?" he asked me.

"Sure." I told him.

"Where would you like to go?" he inquired.

"Hmm... How about Culvers." I said to him.

"Sure why not." he said.

Misaki and I started walking to Culvers for lunch. Once we got there we ordered our food and then took a seat in a booth. Me and Misaki started talking while we waited for our food to arrive, I laughed and giggled a little as he told some funny jokes. While we were talking I heard footsteps from behind me, then I got shoved outta my seat.

"W-What the hell?!?" I said confusinly.

"Excuse me I'm sorry about that." said a girl and she had a evil little smirk on her face.

"Oh hey Miara." Misaki said.

"Hey baby who is she and why are you guys having lunch together?" she asked.

"Oh this is Ruby and we were just having lunch because we just got done at the movies." he told her.

"Oh was it a date??" Miara said in a slightly mad tone.

"No, we were just hanging out as friends." Misaki said.

"Oh..." she looked annoyed.

"Is that a problem...??" I asked.

"I wasn't talking to you." she said with a rude tone.

I got up off the floor after Miara had pushed me outta my seat which actually was quite rude Misaki got up and helped me up off the floor. Miara saw this and gave me a glaring look. After I was up off the floor I told Misaki that I wanted to go home.

"Ok Ruby I'll take you home but first let me go up and cancel our order." he said then walked up to the counter to cancel the order.

After he canceled the order Misaki and I walked outta Culvers. As Misaki walked me home I just looked at the ground the entire time well that is until he said my name.

"Ruby you ok?" I heard him ask.

"Y-Yea..." I said in a sad tone.

"I can tell you're not, just tell me what's wrong." he said.

"W-Well Miara just seemed to act rude towards me when we were at Culvers...." I said.

"Oh, I'm sorry about that, she can be a little protective..." Misaki said as he scratched the back of his head.

"I would say a little overprotective especially for shorty like her..." I giggled a little.

"Yea... I guess, but she is nice once you get to know her..." he said.

"She seems like the yandere type to me.." I said.

We both laughed at that because it seemed so true. Misaki and I were almost to my house we continued to talk until we got to my front door.

"Thanks for getting me outta the house Misaki." I said to him.

"No problem, it was fun hanging out with you." he told me then winked.

I blushed a little at his remark... Then I looked up at him in his bright blue eyes and he looked back into my blood red eyes, he started to lean in closer to me... then it happened we were so close to each others faces, then we ended up with a kiss on the lips.
