Thursday Noon.........

I was pacing back and forth waiting for Kris to get here.

"Peyton quit pacing back and forth. It say in here that stressing is bad for the baby.

Ring......Ring......Ring....Sorry I couldn't reach the phone right no-"

"Ugh! How could he do this day was important."

"It wasn't if he hasn't shown up."

"Oh shut up Maddie."

"Peyton Harper?"

"Come on Pey." Maddie pulled me to the back.

Kris's P.O.V

"Alright listen up ladies before I put this list up I just want to say I'm proud of the talent in this locker room and the hard work that you all done. Go Knights!!"

He pinned the list to the wall. I wasn't in a rush to see it.

"Congrats man." Daniel said

"What?"

"You didn't look, yet have you?"

"No?"

"Well?.....Look."

I went up to the list the first name on the list was.....

'Kristopher Walls, Quarterback'

Under that was.......

'Daniel Ligensworth-Anderson, Wide Receiver'

'Matthew Cater, Tight End'

I was standing there looking down the list when someone started talking.

"When you guys work hard you are rewarded with the strongest and important parts for the team." Coach Phillips said coming out of nowhere.

"What?" I asked for me and Daniel.

"You three are the most important people on the field and the guys look at you like that....that's why I choose you to be them and I expect you guys to be that if not I not I still have guys wanting your spots."

"No you can count on us coach." Matthew said

"Thanks Coach."

"Yeah Coach."

"No thank you three......now get home and rest up because this season is going to break you guys."

"Thanks again Coach."

"Anytime Walls."

I picked up my stuff and ran out of the locker room to my car when my phone dinged I took it out my pocket and saw I had five missed calls and two voicemails I clicked on the first one and put the phone up to my ear.

"Hello Kris this is Peyton I'm at the doctor's getting the ultrasound that your supposed to be at with me-" I clicked the end button and hopped in mh car and started it.

"Shit!" How could I forget the most important day of my life.

I back out of the schools parking lot to the hospital. I got to the hospital I pulled the keys out of the ignition and ran up the the front desk.

"Peyton Harper?"

"Her appointment is almost over but room I-302 on the paternity floor."

I ran down the hall and up the stairs until I spotted her and that one girl shes always with.

"Pey!" She looked up to see me I was out of breath but I still ran up to her and hugged her.

"I am soo sorry Pey."

She pulled away from me and hand me the picture of our baby."

"Here.....don't talk to me."

"Peyton really?" The girl questioned.

"Maddie." She stuck her hand out to me.

"Kris." I shook hands wih her.

"I know who you are." She stated.

"Oh?.....Can you talk to her for me?"

"Nope." She said after she finished

"Why?"

"When you make her mad you have to fix it yourself for her to forgive I had to learn that the hard way." She sounded like a wise old women.

"Okay....thanks."

"Your Welcome!" She yelled while I ran after Peyton.

"Pey...Pey! Please stop?!"

"Leave me alone Kristopher!"

"I'm sorry I got tied up at practice."

"Okay I forgive you......"

"Really?"

"No! I thought if I siad it you would leave me alone."

"Pey it won't happen again I promise."

"Don't promise if you can't keep it."

"This one will be."

"Okay......but this better not happen again."

"It won't see you at dinner?"
