Chapter Thirteen

After the ultrasound and the arguement with Kris. Maddie came back to the house with me to help me get ready for dinner.

"Pet hurry up."

"Okay....Okay I'm coming."

"Sit." She pointed to the chair after an hour later my outfit, hair, and make-up was finished.

Maddie and I argued over what dress I was going to wear, she said the tight black one to make Kris go 'Wild', bit I choose to wear the yellow long one because I was still a little mad at him.

"Well I'm leaving before they get here."

"Okay bye."

"Bye to the both of you." She pointed to my stomach.

Kris's P.O.V

"Dad! Mom! Are you ready?"

"Sweetie were in the kitchen we've been ready." My mom replied.

"Oh well then let's go."

"Son we're going to take our car you take yours so you can take that girl with you and the Harpers can drive theirs." My dad said.

"That girl's name is Peyton, okay."

We got in our cars and drove to the Harper's.

Ding! Dong! The doorbell rang how do I know I could hear it from outside.

Some girl answered the door "Hello Is the Harpers here?"

"Oh hello come inside, they should be down in a minute."

I think that was a house cleaner.

"Hey." I looked up the stairs to see the most gorgeous person get impossibly beautiful.

"H-Hey." I cleared my throat.

"Mom Dad is time to go." She didn't even have to you because the house echoed

"Oh hello I'm Martha this in this is my husband Darrius." Peyton's mother said when she came around the corner.

"Hello." I shook hands with her father and her mother.

"James and this is my wife-"

"Tammy." she shook hands with all the adults except my dad.

I looked at Peyton I caught her staring at me I smiled and she looked away.

"Well let's get this show on the road." Mr Harper said.

Peyton's P.O.V

Kris turned to me on our way out the door and said

"You'll be riding with me everyone is riding in their own cars."

"That's fine" I said.

It was kind of awkward getting in the car I haven't been in this car since that day that we hung out.

"So where we going?" I don't know my father didn't tell me on the way here so I'll just follow them."

Later that night...

Our parents were enjoying themselves all I could do was think about the reactions the only parent I knew was my mom.

"Mom, Dad Mr. & Mrs. Harper, Peyton and I have something to tell you."

I looked up from my still full plate of salad.

"We've known each other for a while her and something else are the reason I'm starting school again it, Well this is the reason that we are here tonight well um...."

"Its okay I'll take you from here well I-I'm... um pregnant."

Clatter! Clatter!

All you see is my mom trying to calm dad down then it went black....

The next morning...

Kris's P.O.V

"I'd stay with you forever if you were awake I try to get the guts to ask you out but I don't know if you like me like that."

"Wh-What did you just say." A different voice a lovely voice said.

"Uh...Um...how are you feeling."

"Ok I think?" She tried to sit up.

"Hey-hey-hey take it easy."

"Where am I?"

"The hospital."

"Why?"

"Because you passed out."

"Why?"

"Because you told our parents you were pregnant."

"Oh yeah. Where are my parents?"

"Everyones out in the waiting room."

"I want to talk to my dad."

"Okay well I have to tell the nurse you're awake."

"Okay."

Peyton's P.O.V

A little while later...

The sound of the rooms door I made me flutter my eyes open to see my dad.

"Hey dad." My throat sounded dry because of the tension in the room was making me nervous.

"Hey kiddo how are you feeling?"

"Honestly...worried."

His face changed instantly to confused

"Why is that?"

"Because you'll think differently of me and I will no longer be your little girl."

"Honey you'll always be my little girl."

I started crying and he pulled me into hug

"That's unless one of your older brothers come home like one then they're going to get the 'little girl' treatment." I laughed and sat up and wipe off my tears. We talked about it a little longer then he got up to leave.

"Can you tell Kris to come in here."

"Sure."

5 minutes later...

"Hey sorry I was eating down in the cafeteria."

"That's okay how many days have I been out?"

"Two that's it."

"So what were you saying when I woke up?"

"First I was talking to the baby and then it just started lingering on, how was the talk with your dad?"

"Great." The unwanted tension started to grow.

"So you know we have to tell my older brothers too?"

"Older brothers?"

"Yeah Josh and Eric."

"Okay."

"You're okay with it?"

"Of course its not like were telling both of our parents."

"well actually it's two of your parents and one of mine."

"Oh yeah your mom."

"Honestly I didn't really want tell anybody it was I kind of nervous to tell you."

"Well I'm happy that we got all of this over with."
