[An Electric Moment.]
-
Laura couldn't sleep. Her eyes were rounded like the moon. She at least tried singing a lullaby to sleep but nothing happened.
This was her fourth night in cell. She felt the atmospheric tentacles wrapping around her, consuming and devouring the warmth inside of her. Laura was now becoming a sleep-deprived animal.
She breathes through cold. Her already awakened self was startled by the voice of Hunter.
"Can't sleep?" he said
"My mind is combusting." she replied.
"Happens all the time. Here."
He removed his jacket and draped it around Laura. Before she could protest, he already locked his emerald gaze into her soul.
The cell was not inviting at all. It's haunting presence ricochets from Laura to corners. If there's one thing Laura was afraid of, that's becoming oblivious to the world outside these walls.
"You don't have to do that."
"It's human nature."
"To drape a jacket around someone voluntarily?"
"To suppress the cold battle of one's heart."
Laura's soul were misty by the time she looked at Hunter's emeralds which were already on hers.
The moment had gone too far.
Their lips pressed on each other's with great electricity and intensity.
