Heyyy my now 36 readers ☺️sorry for the super late update but I lost inspiration and I wasn't sure anyone even liked this fanfic so I just had a little break I guess , but it's the summer holidays now so yeah hopefully more updates!

Luke's POV

" NO OF COUSE I DONT WANT TO GO INTO MORE FUCKING DETAIL" Michael shouted storming out of the hall.

Well that was unexpected,I didn't even know Michael was remotely like me, he was always one of the popular ones...

After another half an hour, Ms Mary finally let us leave.

I think it might have been as bad as school, either way it didn't seam to help it just made me more angry and reminded me how much of a disappointment I was. Anyway half of the people in there were just there for sympathy or attention and the other half were just forced by their parents , so overall it was just a big hell-hole.

I decided to text my mum and say that I'd be walking home.
It was quite nice to be outside for once, when I was little I remember my mum never let me go outside to play with other kids , she always used to say
"other kids just get jealous that your special, they don't understand"
I never really understood what she meant by that.

When I finally got back home I decided to skip all the 'how has your day been?' crap with my mum and sneak straight up to my room.

I liked my room it's the place where I felt most at peace but it was also the place where I would feel most at war with myself , I would overthink too much , my thoughts would get the better of me and everything would just fall apart.

But today was surprisingly one of those peaceful days, where I was just normal for an hour or so before I drifted off to a what I thought was a peaceful sleep...

"HELP ME HELP ME GET ME OUT!"
I cried, I felt my heart thumping, my hands sweating and a constant ringing noise.

- RING - RING - RING -

"Please somebody help!" i tried to scream but it turned more into a whisper.

- RING - RING - RING -

Just then the door swung open and I was taken aback by my mum screaming.

"LUKE ARE YOU OKAY , WAKE UP HONEY!"

I didn't realise I was crying till now. As she repeatedly whispered "it's okay Luke ,I'm here"

After about 10 minutes of silence she finally said " Luke , have you been taking your medication ? You haven't had a nightmare like that in weeks maybe even months!"

I replied with I simple nod, I was just too busy thinking about what might have triggered this , she was right I haven't had a nightmare like this in weeks and now out of the blue I get one . It just didn't add up I was feeling alright earlier and I actually have been taking my medication .

"Okay I'll take you to Dr Gilbert in the morning , maybe it's a side effect or something. now just try and get some rest?"

"Okay mum night. "

Yay I think this is probably the most interesting chapter so far 👌

Don't worry I will get to the part where Luke and Anna officially meet it's just I haven't pictured it just yet plus I didn't want to rush into the romance like most fanfic a do!

Anyways it's 1am and I'm wide awake writing this because there's a spider in my room ( and I've literally got a phobia of spiders) and that's kinda what Inspired the nightmare part! so thanks mr/miss spider 😳😂
