Chapter 5

As I said this is basically like the last chapter but from Anna's POV so it will be a bit longer 👏.

Anna's POV

Sitting in the same old chair, waiting for my dad to finish getting ready so I can call his next patient.

Basically every Sunday I have to wake up at 7am to literally watch my dad talk to people for 4 hours (he's a therapist and he treats people that have mental disorders).

"Anna could you please call in my next patient. Hemmings, mr Hemmings" he said in a more sing song tone, I was confused by why he was so happy today.

As i snapped out from my thoughts I opened the door into the waiting room and shouted "Hemmings, Mr Hemmings."

The person that got up was not who I expected at all.

It was that boy, the one that pushed into me at therapy.

As he awkwardly walked past avoiding any eye contact, I stood there in utter shock thinking why was he here and literally why he was here like what happened.

My dad looked at us with a confused look, but soon shrugged it of and started talking.

"Hey Luke, how've you been?"

Oh so his name is Luke.

"Erm fine"

"So I heard what happened last night"

"Huh" he said completely dumbfounded by what my dad just said.

"You know about your nightmare with the ringing? Your mum phoned me?"

As he said that it looked like Luke was all of a Sudden in a trance and full of thoughts.

"Luke are you okay?"

My dad said seaming to snap Luke out of his trance.

"WELL OF CORSE IM NOT FUCKING OKAY,WHATS WITH EVERYONE ASKING THE SAME OLD QUESTION! I CANT take it anymore!"

And with that He stormed out of the room, not caring about all the gasps and dirty looks he got in the waiting room.

To be honest I don't know why all those idiots where staring and gasping at him, it was none of there business and it's not like they knew what happened.

I kinda felt sorry for Luke I know my dad didn't really do anything wrong but he knew Luke didn't know what he was talking about so he could of just explained it differently.

I also knew how he felt to not be understood by other people, so I decided I would run after him.

Stupid right I barely knew him but I still felt some sort of connection between us.

"Luke!" I shouted hoping he didn't leave and that he was just having a bit of air.

As I got outside I was shocked to see that he was still here just sitting on the bench.

"sorry about him he can be a right pain in the arse!" I giggled.

"Erm it's okay, why did you come after me?" He said sounding a bit unsure.

"I just wanted to see if you were okay, you seam like a nice guy. Even though I still kinda hate you for bumping into me at H.U.S.H. Oh by the way my names Anna."

"Thanks I'm Luke."

Today was pretty weird.

I met that idiot, who wasn't really an idiot, But a pretty nice guy. Even though he probably thinks I'm a weirdo for running after him. But to be honest I don't know why I did either, like I said I felt a connection between us.

My dad was really confused though and i just said to him that I knew Luke (even though I really didn't) and I knew how it felt to have no-one understand you. Of corse he still thought i was weird but I don't really care.

I can't get over how happy I felt after I talked to Luke.

I was the first time I've ever enjoyed my shift and it was also the first time in ages that I smiled around someone else.

Ugh I can't be crushing on Luke,

can I ?

Okay so this was fairly different to the last chapter and a bit longer.

So yeah it's 2am and I couldn't get to sleep so I put on my fave playlist on 8tracks (an empty arena) and started writing this chapter.

And omg just as I wrote that where ever you are came on and EEK I LOVE THIS SONG! Torn in two And I know I shouldn't tell you but I can't stop thinking bout youuu wherever you areee! 💘
