"My name's Clare... and what exactly is a King and Queen, Hitodama?" I questioned. "Well... Clare, each year.. an event is held. This event test the abilities of each student, allowing them a chance to go against the King and Queen. If a student were to aim for the Queen's position, they would need to ask her directly to a duel, using their powers to fight. If the Queen accepts, then a duel will be held where all of Fallistia's students can see it. In order for the student to win against the Queen, she'll need to constantly keep attacking till the Queen admits defeat, by kneeling down and giving her title to the newly crowned Queen. This all goes the same with the King." Hitodama sighs.
"What a long explanation." I said."Im guessing no one told you, huh?" He questioned."Why ask if you already know?" I questioned back. "Well, your... welcome for the explanation. A thank you would be nice." He said, as he starts walking down the stairs to get lunch."Thank you."
.
.
."You know... I wouldn't mind being accompanied." He held out a hand. "Will you come accompany me for lunch in the school's garden?" He says with a gentle smile, as I took his hand."Why not, I have no where else to go."
As both Hitodama and I walked down, I took a glimpse of the crowd, only seeing the King and Queen's back. "I wonder, what would happen if I angered the Queen." I said. "Well, she'd challenge you to a duel." Hito answered. "That's aloud..?" I questioned, a bit confused."Oh, I forgot to tell you, huh? The King and Queen can also challenge any student, but this time, students don't have a choice. They'll be forced to a duel if they deny the King or Queen's invitation."
As both Hitodama and I took the last step of stairs, he let go of my hand and guided me to the garden. "The garden's more packed with female students, looks like we have company." Hito said, staring at an all-girl crowd as both of us take a seat alongside bright red roses. I look towards the direction to which he's gazing at. The King. "That'll explain the peace and quiet being shattered in this garden, the King's creating quite a stir of this fan club of his." He said with annoyance in his voice."Looks like you're not much of a fan boy yourself." I said jokingly."Hah, my oh my, how terrifying that would be." He answered back.

"Well, well, well. Looks like we have a new face here, isn't that right, Ms. Masked Faced." The King smirked, as he held my chin a bit higher. "I sense a strong spiritual energy coming from you.." His face turned serious. "Why the hell are you here Kowagaru?" Hitodama glared. "Kowa... garu?" I questioned. Kowagaru let go of my chin,"King... King should be just fine, Clare."
Welp, he has arrived. ╭( ̄▽ ̄)╮
Sorry if this was short, I'm trying to update at least once or twice (or maybe more) per week.
