Mary-Alice's POV

"I want this one!" I announced, pulling the fluffy pink prom dress off of the hanger.

I ran into the dressing room, locking the door and pulling off my shorts and pink tank top. I took my time putting the prom dress on and it looked beautiful!

"Mommy! I love it!" I screeched, clapping my hands happily.

"Let me see!" She cooned.

I stepped out of the dressing room and twirled around in my new favorite dress.

"Oh honey, you look absoloutly gorgeous!" My mom smiled.

"I know!" I giggled.

The dress was neon pink and it reached the middle of my legs. It had sparkles all over the bottom and stomach area and it had white lace running up the chest area. It was perfect.

"Alright, go pick out some shoes before you change." My mom instucted.

I happily made my way to the shoe department and tried on about a dozen pairs before I found the perfect ones. They were silver sandles with high heels and padded bottoms. The silver went perfect with the sparkles on my dress.

"These!" I cried.

"Beautiful!" My mom said, admiring my dress and shoes.

"I can't wait until daddy sees!" I smiled. I'm a daddy's girl.

"I'm sure your father will love it, now go change so we can buy everything." My mom told me.

I did as I was told and then we bought everything and left the mall. On the way home I saw Two-bit walking down the street through the window. My heart ached and I suddently felt less happy. I wanted to be going tp prom with him, not Bob Sheldon. I felt bad about Bob dumping Cherry for me anyway.

"Everything ok?" My mom asked, as she drove.

"Yeah, ma." I lied.

"Alright, just remember I'm here if you ever wanna talk."

"Thanks."

When we got home, I went inside and showed my dad my dress.

"Beautiful." He said, then went back to reading the paper. I came to the depressing conclusion that he didnt care, so I went up to my room and put the dress somewhere safe.

I was pretty tired from shopping all day and I ended up falling asleep before dinner, while watching Mickey Mouse. That used to be the show Two-bit and I would lay in bed and watch together for hours. But not anymore.

Kira's POV

"Dally! C'mon, we're gonna be late again!" I yelled upstairs from the bar.

"That boy will never learn." Buck snickered and shook hid head.

"Can I have a beer?" I groaned.

"Maybe a little when you get home from school." Buck told me.

I rolled my eyes and got up from the bar stool I was sitting on.

"Dally! Get your fat ass down here!" I called up.

"I'm coming, I'm coming." He sighed, as he came down with my bookbag. He doesn't bring a bookbad because he never does anything at school.

I grabbed my bookbag out of his hands and threw it over my shoulder.

"Let's go." I said.

"Yes ma'm." Dally mocked me.

I ignored him and we walked to the middle school, where I'm stuck for 8 hours a day.

"See ya later, sis." Dally said, messing up my hair.

"Bye." I said, fixing my hair.

I went inside and watched as Dally left. I didn't know where he was going. Maybe school but also maybe not. He always walked me no matter what though. He didn't want any socs hurting me. But honestly, any soc that knew he was my brother wouldn't dare touch me.

Author's Note: The picture of Kira got taken down before, so I posted a different one. Thankd for reading!
