Where are those annoying neon green arrows when you need them?! Lan Youzheng had been searching around the estate to the best of his ability for hours. He just finished inspecting the garden, but no mark or sign could be found. Once again he overestimated his small body's capabilities and he was so tired that he hardly could walk. He didn't have any energy left to complain to System. Where was he supposed to go? He didn't have any clue on where he could find the bodies, if that crazy girl didn't depose of them already.
Lan Youzheng didn't ask the mice to help him. Most of them ended up with a trauma when Cinderella went crazy and he didn't feel like refreshing their memories. Furthermore, Lan Youzheng was pretty sure Jaq was still holding the accident against him. Even though he initiated it, Lan Youzheng felt that it wasn't fair to blame him for everything. That girl wasn't sound already, otherwise she would never have reacted like that.
Just when he decided to give up searching, something green entered his sight. A flashy arrow pointed towards the attic. A black aura started to form around Lan Youzheng. He had been running around for so long and now he had drag his exhausted body four floors up. Contemplating whether he should take a nap first, Lan Youzheng went inside.
Because of his body's weariness, Lan Youzheng lost his balance and slid over the freshly polished marble floor. Thud! Lan Youzheng bumped into something soft. "Lan-lan! Are you okay?" The black cat turned around and looked worriedly at the small rat. 'Damn it! Why did I have meet him?'
For some reason, Lan Youzheng felt like he would be burdening him and didn't want to impose on him, despite knowing that the cat was more than willing to help him out. In the end he had decided to not tell Felix anything. But now that he had bumped into him, his mind was too tired to think up a suitable excuse. 'I guess, the clingy cat has joined the party. Now, how am I going to escape when we've found the bodies?'
While recapping the story to Felix, Lan Youzheng was resting on his back. Although, he didn't want to admit it, Felix's fur was the best. The exquisite and perfect soft hairs were great for restoring his energy. Lan Youzheng suddenly was grateful for the fact that he was reborn, at least he now had the chance to feel the most fluffy fur ever.
"Well, what do we have here?" Lan Youzheng stared frustrated at the pile of fabrics. After Lan Youzheng had explained everything and taken a little recovering nap, Felix had carried him to the attic. Now, they were standing before a big pile of old dresses from the twins sisters.
Lan Youzheng wondered if his IQ decreased, why didn't he think of using a normal dress instead of some magical one? He decided to blame System. After all System came up with the alternative story which used bones.
Felix noticed his little friend was a bit absentminded. "Lan-lan, something wrong?" Lan Youzheng gave a slight smile. "I'm fine, however how are we going to-"
