It Had Always Been Him

Christmas miracle

It was now christmas day and fred was still unconscious, every body else has healed and harry hasnt left the infirmary since they brought fred back so it had been nearly two months sinve he had been to classes. McGonagall still brought him his homework and hermione tutored him but he was greatfull for not having to go to class, everybody was sat around freds bed giving out their christmas gifts and fred had a massive pile of gifts on the emd of freds bed. Harry was silent except for goving thankyous when he opened a gift.
Harry swore he saw freds hand twitch but he decided it was just his imagination but then he saw freds eyes flutter.
"Guys hes waking up" harry said.
They all looked down at fred who now had his eyes open.
"How long have i been out?" He asked.
"Around two months" hermione replied.
"Well harry weve got a few things to catch of havnt we" fred joked, they all knew what he meant. Harry didnt reply as he was so shocked.
"Harry. Harry. Harry!" Fred exclaimed this is when they saw a tear run down harry cheek.
"I-i thought y-you were gone" harry stuttered.
"Im not gone harry im right here, im here with you and i love you"
"I love you too" fred pulled harry towards him as he couldnt sit up unless he wanted a massive headache and he pulled him into a kiss. Everything was better now harry thought. Everyone awwed at harry and fred and both boys blushed.
Fred opened his gifts and molly had got him the usual weasley jumper, bill and fleur had gotten him a broom care kit, hermione had gotten him lots of chocolate frogs, ron had gotten him lots of muggle sweets, percy had gotten him a gift card to flourish and blotts, charlie had gotten him 20 galleons, george had gave him a book that had pictures of them growing up but also in the back it had all of the plans for new jokes at their shop. Fred hugged each and everyone of them then he picked up harrys gift, one of them was a picture of the house that fred wanted to weasleys, "you did it whilst i was out didnt you"
"Yes i did"
Then fred opened his other gift off harry it was a picture book like the one george gave him but it had quotes next to each picture about how much harry loved him.
"What did harry do whilst you were out" molly asked.
Fred handed them the picture "we had plans to buy you a new house as everybody would be moving out soon but it would still have a few extra rooms for when people visit, but with everything going on we didnt have time to get it but it looks like harry bought the perfect one"
Molly and arthur both hugged harry and fred, tears running down their cheeks.
"Its right by a muggle village although it is also right next to a wizarding one to, i chose this one as i knew you liked muggle things arthur and i knew you like shopping in wizarding shops molly, all they need is your signature to say you own the house, i looked through the draws in our dorms and i saw all freds plans for the house and this one fit the description perfectly"
"Thank you so much boys, this is amazing"
"No problem" they said at the same time.
Harry was now sitting by fred on his bed he had helped fred sit up which resulted in him lying on top of him a couple of times as he found it hard to sit up, when they finally managed to get him to sit up harry was exhausted. Everyone sat there laughing, it was the funniest thing they had saw for four months, once every body had left harry gave molly and arthur the adress to the house and they b oth apparated  to it, they instantly sent a patronus saying the loved it. Harry and fred were very happy about this. Madam pomfrey came in to give fred a potion to heal everything now that he was awake. In the morning fred felt lots better and it was 6:00 am and harry was still asleep, so fred went to go do something. He found sirius setting up his first class.
"Hey sirius"
"Hey fred, how are you"
"Im fine now, i was wondering if i could ask you something"
"Sure go ahead"
"I was wondering if i could have your permission to ask harry to marry me"
"Of course, im so proud of both of you boys. When will you propose?"
"Well im not sure yet but im going to have to get a ring and a while ago my mum promised me a ring that was my grandmothers one of the times she got married and i want to ask remus for his permission so probably around easter in a few months."
"Well dont tell anyone yet but last night me and remus picked a date for our wedding and its on easter sunday, ill have to ask remus but you could propose at the end of the wedding as it will be a very happy day that both of you deserve"
"Thank you"
"No problem"
Fred left quickly to get back to the infirmary before harry woke up luckily harry just started to stir as fred walked in.
"Good morning babe" fred said to harry as he walked to the bed. Harry sat up and he saw fred standing at the end of the bed.
"Morning, where have you been?"
"I just went to talk to sirius that reminds me i need to send a letter to remus, wanna come to the owlery with me ?"
"Of course, i dont want to leave you again"
They walked up to the owlery and once fred had sent the letter to remus harry asked "what did you need to talk to remus about" followed by fred saying "thats a surprise." Fred got harrys christmas gift from there room as he had got it quite early, it was a necklace with rubys encrusted in it and it was half a charm harrys half said toge- and freds said -ther. Harry ran over to fred and hugged him, he had missed him so much over the past few months.
