"we're here" my mom said, parking the car. wow, the university looks v awesome, just like what it looks like on the internet. It's so modern and there's trees everywhere.
We (me and michael) grab our bags from the back of the car. "im gonna miss you" my mom said, then she gave me a hug. i told her that it's only one month and not to worry because michael's with me. "mike take care of Kayla okay?" my mom told michael. "of course mam" michael salutted at my mom. My mom laughed, "ok you go guys!!" my mom said, getting back to the car.
me and michael roam around the university, when someone familiar approached us. "hi i'm ashton can i ha-" he paused, staring at us. maybe he recognized me? or not.
"michael? oh my god!!" he chuckled, giving michael a hug. what the hell is going on. "ashton omygosh i didnt know your still here" michael said, smiling widely like he totally forgot that i was beside him.
Michael looked at me, but i faced the other way. "by the way Ashton this is Kyla" finally, michael noticed i was feeling out of place. "Hey i think we met before" Ashton said. Folks it's been a week and he forgot it immediately wow.
"i remember!! the park right?" he asked, while giggling. well this one likes laughing. i nodded, answering him. at least he remembered. "wait oops im supposed to give you guys an orientation" ashton chuckled, brushing his hair up.
"again, hi i'm ashton i'm a senior, can i have your invitations so i can give you your dorm numbers" we gave him our letters. both genders live in a different building, luckily i'm on second floor.
"meet me back at the field" i told michael and ashton. it's nice to see familiar faces here.
as i enter my room, there was a brunette girl standing by the window. "oh hey" she smiled, giving me a handshake. "you must be Kayla?" i nodded. "hey i'm Tyra Waters" this must be my roommate.
"It's nice meeting you Tyra" i chuckled, putting down my bags on my bed. The room's pretty big for the two of us.
"i'm having a feeling we'll get along well" Tyra's a bit energetic and happy. "i hope so too" i chuckled, arranging my stuffs. "aren't you gonna go down?" she asked, sitting on my bed.
"i will, im just gonna settle down" i told her. "well ok talk to you later" she chuckled, before closing the door.
I went to the school field afterwards. I looked around, there was no sign of michael. i texted him, 'WHERE ARE YOU'
"look out!!" someone yelled, making me startled. there was a soccer ball flying to me. Luckily, i catched it. wait, no.
It fucking hit me on the head. someone ran up to me, "hey are you okay?" a guy asked, lifting my head up. I covered my eyes, oh my god no kayla don't cry. This is so embarassing.
"hey don't cry" as he said that, i opened my eyes. I was stunned by his beauty.
"a-are you okay?" he asked. (omg kayla speak) "ah yes" i said. He helped me as i stand up. He grabbed the soccer ball from the ground, and kicked it back to his friends.
"i'm really sorry" he apologized.
i smiled, "nah it's fine, really" im feeling dizzy. "im really feeling guilty though, can i make it up to you?" he asked. omg is he flirting with me? "omg are you flirting with me?" i chuckled.
"maybe?" he said, showing me his bright smile. "i still haven't introduce myself. i'm Luke, Luke Hemmings"
"i'm Kayla Williams" i smiled. "Kayla means gorgeous, what a gorgeous name for a gorgeous girl" he is flirting with me.
"you are flirting with me" i chuckled, "im guessing we'll get along" i uttered. "i feel so too" Luke said, winking at me.
i turned aroud and saw Michael and Ashton running towards us. They looked shocked. I wonder what's wrong, omg maybe they heard that i was hit by a soccer ball on the face? my life is ruined.
"is this some kind of a reunion?" Luke chuckled. (huh what?) he started waving at ashton and michael. omg don't tell me;
"Luke? Holy shit man where have you been" Michael uttered loudly. They gave themselves a group hug. "i just took a break from everything" Luke chuckled. god are they real people?
"Kayla you fine?" michael asked, gazing at me. "oh yea" i took a deep breathe. wait i still haven't thought on what club i should join hmm...
"hey there's only three of us where is he?" ashton asked.
