Joey's Pov
Niobe and I are going to the park to go meet up with my friends, but she doesn't know. The other day, she said she wanted to hang out with my friends so she could get to know them better and that's exactly what we are going to do today.
"where are we going" she said with her hand intertwined with mine while we were walking.
"You'll see".
"Just tell me " she wined.
"I would but then it wouldn't be a surprise"
"Jojo please" she begged. Recently she's been calling me Jojo and I actually really like the nickname she gave me. It's cute...I guess.
"Nope not gonna happen " I said popping the p .
"Fine then. Let's talk about stuff then " she said.
"Okay. What do you wanna talk about" I asked sounding confused.
"Why are you dating Alicia" she asked.
It took time for me to comprehend the question she asked me. Then I realise something I didn't realize before. Why was I dating Alicia? I don't even like her. Don't think that I am and f-boy cause I am not. I like her but not more than a friend. Why am I dating her in the first place?
"Jojo"
"Huh" I replied
"Why are you dating her " she asked me again.
"Because I like her" I replied which was a lie.
I noticed that she was looking at the floor so I put her chin up. My other hand was still intertwined with her hand. She looked into my eyes and I looked into her hazel eyes.
"Niobe I--" Suddenly I got interrupted by Charles, Aaron and Harvey. They all ran up to Niobe and they hugged her.
Just when we were about to have a moment.
"Hey guys" she said to them while smiling at them.
"So this was the surprise" she said while giggling.
"Didn't you say you wanted to get to know my friends" I said.
"Of course" she replied
"Are you guys a thing" Harvey asked pointing at our hands.
"No, I am dating Alicia. Remember." I told him.
"We're just friends " she said.
"Nothing more or less" she said smiling at me.
We're just friends. That's was all I could think of. Does she not see me more than a friend? Do I see her more than a friend?
