ch. 9

[yerin pov]

We were now heading into our classroom to meet with the other members. Sowon unnie was the first one to enter, followed with me and Eunha. We sat at the chairs waiting for the others, then minutes passed, Umji followed together with Sinb and Yuju. Sowon stood up, starting for our 'little' meeting. We were just talking about school stuffs, trying to review our past topics for school, getting ready for the upcoming test.

"So you guys must study hard and practice more. Remember that we need teamwork here. We can't just do the test without helping each other right?" Sowon says, looking at us seriously. 

"Ne!" We all shouted, trying to cheer each other.

"Fighting to all of us!" Sinb shouted as well, smiling, giving hope for the all of us.

As we finished doing our meeting, I went out the classroom. I suddenly remembered about earlier, about what Taehyung told me.

"I'll talk to you after class. Meet me at the library."  

His voice was echoing in my mind. Okay, fine. I walked on my way towards the locker area first to put off my things before heading into the library. I sighed deeply, nervous at what he's going to talk about. I even wondered if I would really continue going into the library to meet him. He might not be there, and I might be assuming too much. I slowly walked to my way, thinking positively.

As I was about to enter the library, the glass door first showed me Nayeon. Yeah, that girl from Twice. I saw her together with... him? And now she's together with V? I thought they had fought already. I don't know. Am I going to continue to enter?

[taehyung pov]

We were done advance studying in our assigned room given by rm hyung. We were already finished and i went out together with j-hope hyung.

"Hey hyung. You just go home first with Jimin and Suga hyung. I have to stop by at the library. Mian." I smiled, same as J-hope hyung did. I walked at the opposite side as they went to their way going home while i walked into the library to be 'supposedly' meeting that girl Yerin. I continued walking, sitting at the nearest table, waiting for her. I hope she really comes.

It was about 4:30 when I looked at the watch. Where is she right now?

As I was about to stand up and get some books to read and distract myself for being so impatient, I saw Nayeon, again, stopping in front of me. She then started to talk to me.

"Hey V." She said smiling so warmly. That damn smile again. I just looked at her, emotionless.

"Uh, hey." I was really about to exit when she stopped me again. 

"You sang so good out there at the Vocalist Club." She smiled again. Oh that one.

"Thanks." I just said that one word to avoid any much else. But then again, she wouldn't stop talking to me.

"W-wait! Let me talk to you for awhile." She suddenly held my hand, giving me chills. What is she trying to do?

"What do you want?" I try to say that to her coldly, but it seems like it didn't really work.

"I just want to apologize before anything happens. I know we messed up with this and that. But I don't want you to think that I'm a bad person or something. I just really want to make it up to you-- I mean no! I mean..." I could see her visibly gulping. Make it up to what?

"What do you mean?" I ask her with a cold look again, trying hard.

"I just want us to be friends again. You know, to start all over again." She looked at me straight at the eyes. I looked away from that little stare, until I realized that she was still holding my hand. I suddenly let go from her grip, looking at her once again before I go and find Yerin.

"Okay fine. We're just friends. And that's it. I'm going now. I'm about to meet someone right now. Bye." I quickly say, making my way out of the library but to only see that Yerin was actually looking at us the whole time.

"I noticed that you keep getting us caught up like that. What are you really?" I said to Yerin, chuckling. She just scratched her head and asked this one question that really hit me really hard.

"If you're asking if what I am, then what's with the both of you too?" She ask, looking at me with arms crossed. This girl is really something. She has this attitude that makes me like her, for a little. I don't get to fall inlove with people that easily you know? I chuckled, smiling at her.

"We're just friends. Don't get jealous." Then I held her hand, bringing her somewhere away from the library so that Nayeon wouldn't see us. 

"W-wait. W-where are we going-- where are you taking me?" She stutters, confused as to where I am going to take her. I stopped by the outside of the gym area where there is a big tree with a bench beside. I make her sit there.

"Wait for me for awhile. I'm going to get something for us." I go to the machine to get cola for the both of us. I hand her the cola and sat beside her. 

"What do you want to talk about?" She suddenly asks after being silent for awhile. I look at her with the corner of my eye and then back to what's in front of me.

"Uhm..." Then I remembered something. Nayeon. Nayeon. Nayeon. I shook off my thoughts, thinking about it once again. This is it, I'll just straightly say this to her.

"Can you... pretend that we're together for awhile? I promise to do anything you want after."

After what I've said, I noticed the she choked on her cola. 

"S-sorry. What?!" She then started to blurt out, then she continued.

"What are you trying to say Tae-- I mean V, what are you saying out of the blue? Are you crazy? We just met and, we're still even that close!" 

I just laughed at her reaction and decided to tease her so that she could accept.

"You know that it's just going to be for a short time. Don't get too surprised. Are you that happy?" I laughed so hard, teasing her. She just looked at me judgingly, making me laugh more.

"Ah, really. What's wrong with you?" 

"What's with that look? Haha." I laughed more then stopped when she finally said it.

"Fine. Fiiiineee. Just for awhile. No extensions. I need to focus for the test. Ah what am I doing with my life, really." She said that, rolling her eyes for the nth time. i kept laughing and told her that i would take her home safely. Good thing she just accepted.

[sowon pov]

it was only me and eunha walking home together. Umji didn't get to walk home with us because she said she had to go home with his brother. And Yerin... we didn't know where she went. Sinb and Yuju was also busy with the dance club. Eunha and I decided to stop by the 7-eleven for awhile. I bought an icecream and some snacks for the night to keep me from being hungry. You know, it's hard to be a kind of person who is a foodie. As we were done with buying stuffs here and there, we didn't expect to be meeting with some of the bts members again. I looked at their school ids and saw it was Jin, Jungkook and RM? Oh that guy.. I remember him. So I heard he changed his name from Rap Monster to RM. It's cool though, I thought.

Eunha told me that we should sit for awhile to continue eating with our just bought ice cream. I think she still didn't notice about the bts members being here in the same room as us.
