Chapter 9

Mia's POV

I was helping untie dry up the clothes when I heard someone whisper on my ear.
I decided to just ignore it but it suddenly gets louder. I thought it was untie but then I turned around and saw no one. I started to get freaked out and it whispered again.

"Don't worry Mia. It's me your eomma." It said and I suddenly saw a blue light.

"Follow me..." Its said and I was hesitating to but I still did. Glad I was finished doing the chores.

I followed that glowing light outside. I didn't see untie anywhere so I continued to follow it. It ended up in the river where I landed yesterday. I looked at the blue light and it went down the river.

I went to look at the river and I looked at it's reflection. I saw myself on it, but then it started to change and form into eomma's figure with appa beside her, which totally made me surprised, happy and sad.

"Eo-eomma...A-appa..." I said sobbing

"Don't cry dear. We're just here to tell you a very important thing." Eomma said

"What is it?" I asked

"We brought you here dear..." Eomma said that made me confused.

"What do you mean?" I asked

"You will find out soon dear. But remember there is the right time for you to leave. And this light will come to get you. And with that you will forget everything except for the one who fall in love with you. For a while I will give you this..." Eomma said and gave me a full blue hour glass necklace.

"We love you very much Mia..." Appa said

"I love the both of you too. But what are you saying? And what is this?" I asked and they just disappeared.  I was reaching for them but then I accidentally splashed in the water. To be honest I don't know how to swim and it's a little deep river. The next thing I knew is just I passed out.

Jungkook's POV

I was walking towards home and I saw eomma outside panicking. I went to her and said...

"What's the matter eomma?" I asked her

"It's Mina. She's been missing for an hour." Eomma said that made me panic but tried to be calm.

"I'm sure she's just---" I was cut off by the sound of an ambulance going near the river. We went there to know what's happening. We saw pur neighbours crowded and chattering.

"That girl is crazy. She could've died."
One of them said

"I'm sorry but. What's happening?" Eomma asked

"A girl slipped in the river. I saw her just now while I was looking my reflection at the water." One of our neighbours said

Suddenly we saw the rescue teams carry an unconscious girl. I saw her dripping wet with an ober sized shurt and short and was And it turned out to be...

"Mina!" I shouted.

"Eomma it's Mina." I said and turned to eomma.

"Oh my..." eomma said and we both went towards the ambulance where Mina is.

We saw the nurses lay Mina down and gave her CPR.

"Are you related to her somehow?" One of the nurses asked

"N---" I was cut off by eomma

"Yes. Her name is Jeon Mina. Jungkook's cousin." Eomma said that made me confuse but I'll just ask eomma later.
Our neighbours starts to chatter and whisper again.

"I never seen her my whole life."

"She looks like the Kims daughter."

"Yes she does."

And they all nodded.

The nurses CPR her and there was no sign of life on her. I saw a blue necklace she was holding.

Glad she hold on to it tight. I mean it should've separated with her hands right?

I got the necklace for Mina's hands and watched the whole scene.
They CPR her again and this time it was successful. Mina spilled out the water inside her and starts to cough loud.

"Mina!" I said and I hugged her.

I felt arms around me and hugged me tight. I don't care if I get wet. All I care is that Mina is safe...
The ambulance left even our neighbours in the scene.
We also went home after that.

"Oh Mina. You made me worried so much." Eomma said to Mina.

"I'm sorry untie. I.." Mina said and paused

"What are you doing in the river by the way?" Eomma asked to Mina

"I saw--- I just wanted to roam around. And I saw a river  and I accidentally splashed in. I also don't know how to swim." Mina said while rubbing her arms shyly.

"Oh okay. Now go change dear. I know you're cold." Eomma said and Mina obeyed and went to my hyung's  room.

Then I faced Eomma and asked..

"Eomma, why did you say that Mina is my cousin?"

"*sigh* It's because they might take her away and put her on a place she wouldn't like. Uhhm just like the orphanage because we don't have the authority to be her guardian  Do you want her to be taken away?" Eomma asked

"Of course not eomma!" I said

"I know. I like her to. She seems like a good girl. Do you know what happened to her parents?" Eomma said

"She said they died." I said

"Oh my... poor girl." I said and eomma shooked her head.

"Well school is another problem for her." I said

"Don't you want that? She will always be by your side." Eomma said and winked

"Eomma!" I grunted

"Okay okay. Call Mina now. She must be hungry." Eomma said and I obeyed.

Before I call Mina, I went to change.
