It's was the week after our match that was... I don't wanna talk about it. I actually didn't care that much. I mean our team lost and it's just a club anyway.
I let out a sigh then I felt something was missing. I wasn't sure what it was so I started to look inside of my bag if I left something.
"Wait, where's Yamaguchi?"
I ask myself as I look around.
He would usually run up to me as I start to walk towards our school.
This is strange.
I think it happened to often that if feels weird when he doesn't show up.
Who am I kidding?
He's done this since we met each other.
Man... where is he?
As I reach the school gates I look back to see if there is a boy with freckles running up to me.
But he wasn't there.
I felt to confused.
I suppose he woke up late.. did he? I hope he did. I proceed to enter our school while looking through each class as I walk by in the hallway. I enter class and see this boy with.. his hair tied in a ... what do you call it? Half-pony tail? Half-moon?? The boy was wearing glasses and and a blazer aside from the normal gakuran that almost everyone uses. He seemed new to me but I didn't care. He was reading, the homework we were assigned to do last week. But it seems that he already finished it. Then why would he look through it again? He's rechecking?Oh wait! If he has the homework from last week it means he is not new here .
Then who is he—
My thoughts were cut of by the ringing of the bell.
A few moments later our teacher entered our class. We stood up to greet her with a bow that sat down when she told us too. "Okay let us check attendance. Say present if you are here." She said as she proceeded to call out each of our names."Tsukishima Kei" she said as I responded "Present" while raising my hand. I turn around and noticed that Yamaguchi is not yet here even if all the seats are already filled. I hear a small giggle from our teacher.

"It seems that you are wearing the blazer.I haven't seen any male students wear that in ages." She laughed while looking at that so called "new" student.
"Oh right. Back to attendance." She said. I was still wondering
"Who in the world is this new student, and WHERE IS YAMAGUCHI?!"
Then my questions got answered. "Yamaguchi Tadashi" the teacher said as I started to look around to see where he is. Until....
"Present"
I turn my head to find out that the kid in the blazer....
"Tadashi?"
He looked at me. Didn't even reply or show interest in me like what the normal Yamaguchi would do. He looked at me and looked forward right after. He looks tired. Is he ok? His face looks dull..I felt my body sink. I didn't know what would happen. I'm sure that's not Yamaguchi. He would never be like that.He would never change all of a sudden.
What happened?..
