so another season passes by.
this changes their relationship drastically and nothing is the same anymore. jin's barely talks to you now and the only time he talks to you is to help you with career goal assignment but even then that is limited.
it’s winter now and you is getting ready to visit Seoul. before you leaves her house, you opened the same window that you would use to communicate with jin all the time growing up.
you then heads out to the train afterwards where you then finds jin there waiting for you
(back to memory lane)
jin had actually seen all the times you and hoseok were together. so he knew about them and their feelings for each other because he was a witness to all those moments they spent time with each other.
he also adds that since he had been ignoring you all this time, he wasn’t too sure how he should bid farewell to you but he does it anyways. he wipes your tears and then leans in for a hug.
instead of the passionate kiss that he believes is the best kind of ending to a movie, he gives you a warm and tight-knit hug — the type of ending that you believed was best for a romantic movie because it was happier and didn’t mean necessarily mean a farewell.
and so it’s the same with you and jin. he bids farewell with you at the moment as the train approaches them from behind by holding you closely in his arms, but you both know that this doesn’t mean goodbye forever.
