Broken

I was very happy today, the smile never left on my face.
But it was cut short when I heard sobs as I open the door.
I wonder what's happening and I saw them crying and they turned to face me.
"They're gone honey, I'm sorry."
I don't understand at first, I don't want to understand. I don't want to know the answer but my mind just slap the reality that my heart wants to deny.
"My family is gone"

I was broken and torn into pieces. I'm left alone in this house full of memories with the people that I won't be with anymore.
Thinking about it made me crumpled into the ground; bleeding.

"Minhye!" I heard his voice and somehow it ease the pain inside even a little.
He's like my knight in shining armor and I'm his damsel in distress.
I wanted to scream for him to come to me but no words came out; only tears.
He found me lying helplessly on the floor and without second thought he pulled me into his embrace and say.
"I'm here, I'm just here."
