The sun was setting. Will and Nico were sitting on a spread out blanket in a field at Camp Halfblood.
No, this was no ordinary camp. It was a summer camp for the children of the gods, the so called demigods, where they were trained to fight monsters.
This year the campers had met a new enemy; Gaia and made a new friend; the demigods of Camp Jupitor. Now they'd defeated Gaia together just a few week ago and most kids of Camp Halfblood had gone home, relieved to have survived and glad to see their family again.So the camp was pretty quiet.
But Nico hadn't left. He was smiling, his eyes closed, facing the setting sun, being held by his new boyfriend Will.
Nico had always liked Will, but at an earlier time he was obsessed with a different boy and couldn't see the one that he should've had his eyes laid on.
Nico looked up at Will. His beautiful, blonde hair glistening in the warmth of the setting sun. His soft, bright red lips...
Nico missed kissing them already. Running his hands all over Will's tan body.
Will looked so content. So was Nico. Finally at peace. It was finally his turn to be a normal teenaged boy. Have a boyfriend. Maybe even go to school.
Nico closed his eyes again, just to be woken up by a screaming in the distance.
