150 reads before I update ! :) AUTHORS NOTE: Hey guys! So this chapter is basically Harry explaining his life since Rachael passed.. And some other stuff happens. Sorry it's not that exiting, but there is Something big at the end! I promise the next couple chapters will be interesting ;)

HARRYS POV:

Nine months. It's been nine months since Rachel died. Nine months of questioning what to do with my life now that she's gone.

I've gotten back to my regular life pretty much. I work Wednesday and Friday nights at a bar in downtown Los Angeles. I also managed to become a part time roof installer for some company I found online. Other than work, I don't have much to do with my life.

I've gone out with friends a couple times, but there obnoxious happiness and laughing makes me not want to smile ever again. The way they act when they talk to me about Rachael makes me sick. The regular "Aw I am sorry for your loss" and then they loose interest in the topic within a matter of seconds and head over to the bar for a seventh shot.

My mom and her new rich husband, Frank came to visit about a month or two ago. They brought a fruit basket and some wine, and I listened to them talk about there new house in Malibu.

Before my mom met frank, she could barley afford shoes. Now she's walking around on gold ones. When I brought up Rachael all she said was "Sweetie you will get over it" and then continued to talk about her and Frank.

I've felt more lonely as the months go on. Marina has stopped by a couple times for dinner and we would talk until morning about how wonderful Rachael was. She would tell me funny stories of the two of them as kids.

My favorite story she told me was when they where 8 and went to the same summer camp, and they were assigned to go swimming in the pool at the camp and Rachael put on so much sunscreen that it turned the water foggy and all the kids had to get out of the pool because it was a safety hazard.

My loneliness got worse when Marina left for Kansas to help her parents after a twister took down there house. She said she would be gone for a few months. It's been 3 months and I miss her terribly.

We have become really close actually. I guess me and her talking about Rachael made me feel happy more than sad. I got to a point in time where talking about her made me smile rather than cry.

I miss Marina more than I should. I desperately need her to come and spend time with me. I've come to like how she talks for a long time. And her smile makes my day. Something about that girl makes me really happy.

As for John, I haven't seen him much except for an occasional awkward glare at the grocery store. He has this creepy ass smirk on his face every time I look at him. He is such a creep.

When Rachael would tell me about her Biological father, she characterized him as loving and sweet. Not Rude and Creepy.

---

It's February already and all I've done is work and hide out at home. I have decided that I want to start looking on online dating sites and maybe find someone who will make me less lonely?

I don't know. I don't even want to date anybody but I really need someone to keep me company and listen to my thoughts. I have nobody anymore.

I've seen a few girls over the past month but none of them stand out to me. On one of the dates I had with this girl names Alyssa, she brought her mom to lunch with us. If that's not clingy I don't know what is.

Last night I went out with a girl named Becca. I took her to a restaurant near the ocean and we had a good time. It went pretty well I think. We talked a while and shared interests. She is really sweet. She travels the world for a living and she couldn't stop talking about her trip to Africa she just got back from. She must have a ton of money if she can afford to Travel the damn world for a living.

She has long golden hair and her smile is big and bright. It's really nice to just look at her. That's what I did mostly through dinner. Just looks at her face features.

I couldn't help but think that I only am interested in her because she looks similar to Rachael. The long golden hair, the smile, the deep eyes. Even their laugh is similar.

I am having her over to my place tonight for a movie. I am somewhat nervous because I don't want to fall for someone just because they remind be of Rachael. I am trying to move on, not go back to square one.

The door bell rings and I finish buttoning up my dress shirt and head to the door. When I open the door, I am surprised that it is not Becca. It is Marina.

A smile grows on my face and I throw my arms around her. She laughs and hugs back.

"I am so happy to see you!" I say a little to exited. Her smile grows and she chuckles.

"You too! I was going to come over tomorrow because I am on the way home from the air port now and I'm extremely tired, but I miss you and couldn't wait!" She replies sweetly.

"Come on in" I say and gesture her into

the house. I leave the door cracked open, so Becca can get in when she gets here.

"Wow it's fancier in here than I remember" she says and her eyes scan the room a couple times.

"Yea, I'm having somebody over in a bit" I say and she gasps.

"Oh I'm so sorry for intruding then" She says and grabs her bag. I stop her and hand her a wine glass.

"No stay, it's fine" I say and smile. I pour wine into her glass and we sit down on the patio. It's 6:24 and Becca was suppose to be here at 6...

I ignore my thoughts of Becca and turn to Marina, who is on her second glass of wine in five minutes. Damn she's so cute.

"Slow down" I tell her with a laugh, and lower her wine glass from her mouth.

She chuckles and sets her glass down on the table.

"Sorry, I've just been in Kansas for three months in a small motel in the middle of nowhere while my elderly parents play chess and complain about how scratchy their knee socks are" She said with an annoyed tone. "I could use a little alcohol" she adds.

She smiles and looks out at the ocean. Her brown hair is flowing in the breeze and it's a pretty site. Her eyes are sparkling from the sun and she looks so happy and beautiful.

Without thinking, I pull her head to face me and lean in so our lips connect. Her soft lips feel just right as I deepen the kiss. She jumped in shock, but didn't move away.

Just as I break the kiss, I look up to see Becca standing behind us, with her mouth wide open and fists clenched.
