Earthling contact

A freak from space!

Her gut was telling her to leave now but her brain told her otherwise. Creeping forward in a low crouch she kept her eyes firmly locked onto the crashed ship not letting her thoughts take her elsewhere. As she edged closer to touch the ship she quickly spotted something from the corner of her eye making her lose train of thought and fall backwards into a panic. The thought of being watched drove her crazy as she opened her mouth to speak a shadow from behind the ship moved from the darkness into eye view.

"Now before you freak out I need you to know I am of no harm to you!..I was shot down by earthlings in green uniforms!"  The creature spoke in a panicked manner while constantly checking its surroundings.

She let out a scream of fear before being briefly silenced by this creatures boney grey hand. It's eyes were huge, black and sharp oval shaped its external eyelid visible as it blinked for less then a millisecond.

"Just listen to me! Your gonna get me fucking killed if you keep on at your screaming you strange being!..you need to understand that I won't harm you. I need your help!" Blinking once more as it took a breather.
The girl threw a hard kick at the creatures face sending it flying backwards. Without a second  thought she scrambled to her feet and ran. Ran until she could run no more before collapsing onto the floor causing her ankle to form a deep cut from the fall.

"What are you!..WHY ARE YOU HERE? Y-YOU ALIEN FREAK! STAY AWAY FROM ME!" Backing as far as she could into the floor almost burying herself into a grave as she gripped her injured ankle to stop the blood flow. The alien had gotten back up from the swift kick in the face and was making its way to her once again a beaten expression on its face.

"Thanks to your total ignorance you've got yourself hurt. It looks pretty bad as well to say you just had a fall..Oh well leave it up to me!" The alien clapped its hands together and looked up at the girl. "Your gonna have to trust me now okay? I'm gonna help you so don't start throwing anymore kicks at me." Before she could stop it the alien had its hands gripped around her ankle making a deep humming sound as it tightened grip straining its eyes while doing so. She looked down to see that her ankle was back to normal. Neither cut or blood in sight the creature had healed her.

"How..what? How did you do that have you poisoned me?" Confusion gripped her voice as she looked this freak from space in the eyes.

"It's called magic kid! While winking back at her in response. "Look I know we got off on the wrong page but i want you to be able to trust me. My names Echo by the way not "Freak!" Whats yours?"

The girl gulped down her gut instinct to flee "October..my names October. I'm sorry for kicking you.. you scared the shit out of me it's not everyday you meet a 4foot, skinny grey..thing" Echo nodded his head in agreement
"I don't usually fly near earth but I got carried away..hence the reason I was shot down!" His voice going off trail towards the end. "I just want to get back home again." He looked up at October and smirked "would you be oh so kind to take me back home again?" A forked tongue slipped from behind his teeth

"I've got no other choice really have I..just promise me you won't try any weird or crazy shit on me?" She stared down at the alien who was busy flicking it's tongue. She didn't get a response back from him apart from a low hiss and wide eyes furrowing into an unusual expression. All she knew was that she had to keep him hidden from the worlds greedy hand and eye.
