"October..October...OCTOBER!" Echo threw a slap at her face making her swiftly awake from the short sleep she turned to see the god awful space freak blowing smoke hoops from a cigarette it had held in hand.

"Queen dicks awake at last!" He mocked laughing at her expression. "You earthlings are so weird looking with your tall posture and big body's! But you all got tiny eyes and heads!" October let out an exaggerated sigh just listening to what this crazy alien had to say about her.

"Well you can't say ought have you seen yourself? You've got a big ass forehead and grey skin! Plus you look like you just came out of a concentration camp! And where's your nose at? You've just got nose holes!" Echo flicked out his tongue and gave a hiss

"Your so rude to me I'm only having fun at you damn! You'd kill me if you had the chance wouldn't you? I'm trusting you to get me home and here you are poking fun at me!" He burned out the cigarette before dropping it onto the ground and kicking dirt over it. "Don't want any evidence Ive been here." October shuffled over to him before taking out her phone to try catch a sneaky picture of him with his snake tongue. "Don't even think about it!..put the phone down!" He wasn't the usual alien but instead was welled with paranoia. He narrowed his eyes and was suddenly gone.. no where to be seen no sign of escape nothing.

"Woah what the hell Echo? Where'd you go dude?" She put her phone back into her bag and looked all around her looking for any signs of this stupid alien child. "Echo this isn't funny I'm sorry if I scared you. I was only joking around."

"ONLY JOKING I SEE?" He had suddenly reappeared in front of her again out of thin air. That forked tongue of his flicking around outside his mouth.

"JESUS F-CHRIST! DON DO THAT SHIT MAN! My HEART can't handle it!" She winced back an effort to cry from the sudden shock but she wasn't gonna let a stupid alien make her cry. He was just joking.

"That was priceless! Your face was so shook I thought you were gonna start tearing up." If your wondering what that was by the way it's just a thing I do when I feel threatened it hides me from potential danger but I can only do it for a period of time an it takes it outta me." He was bent over taking in air to get his breath back. Doing that had completely took it out of him. October just curled her eyebrows in confusion and laughed nervously.
"So it's kinda like a way of getting out an uncomfortable situation then?..have you ever had to use it before a part from now?" She was now highly intrigued in how and why Echo could do this.

"Exactly correct. When I saw you about to snap pictures of me I felt threatened so I used it to get out of that situation! And I've only ever had to use it just now apart from that nah." October was intently listening to what he had to say.

"About that healing thing you did on me..have you ever done that before and if so how does it work?"

Echo looked up at her and laughed
"Well I've used it on myself once or twice but using it's pretty problematic. It works by some cool genetic shit I've in my DNA that's only accessible in my species. Also the reason why I need to get home cause the uniformed earthlings want it for themselves and I'm not up for that!" Turning himself around to face the fire he got out another cigarette and set it alight. You could tell from his uncomfortable posture and expression that he didn't like thinking about what would happen if they caught him. Or if they found out his secret ability's. "Earthlings are greedy fucking swines if they see something unusual and alien to them they'll want to catch it and make it public. I refuse to be taken by those bastards. I'd rather be dead then alive if the ever find me..trust me."
