Crazy idea

Echo was impatiently pacing in circles around October waiting for her to wake up so they could both be on the move like they had planned last night.

"Get your lazy ass up right now! We gotta get moving quickly before this place becomes more alive!" Giving her a swipe to the head in the process to wake her up "You've been asleep for ages you said you'd help me not lie around all day!" Snorting from his nostrils in frustration of her dazed look. Before she had chance to fully wake he grabbed a hold of her arm and dragged her along to an undergrowth of prickly bushes letting her go as he got inside.

"Why did you have to drag me? And why in a bush of all places..it's making me itch!" She picked herself up into a crouch to get to echos eye level moving herself to the side of him to see what he was looking at. The deep blackness of his eyes dilated into a clear white as he scanned the area he was in making sure that he wasn't going to bump into any unwanted visitors before jumping back out into the open dragging October along with him.

"That was creepy the flushed white eye thingy you just did. What does that do for you or are you just showing off to make me jealous?" October wished she could change her eye colour at will but for now she was stuck with what she called 'boring brown!'

"Why would I show off smh that's just a pathetic thing to do it's just a thing I do to look for things that the human eye can't see. Kinda like X-ray vision can see movements under the ground and around deserted places." Making his way to the top of the bank to look down on a silent city..or it was for now. "Not that bad actually we can easily make it across here if you manage to keep your trap shut." Giving her a dumb smirk his split tongue making an appearance form the side.
They both made it down the bank and into the city so far so good everything was going just to plan maybe a bit to well to be sure usually something was bound to happen out of nowhere when least expected. The freakishly thin Alien was crawling across the floor as flat as possible belly almost grazing the ground as he passed by long arms and legs acting like independent spider legs one at a time in front of the other occasionally giving a sudden burst of speed to quicken the procedure. His eyes darting around tension building up like a dart to a bullseye any unexpected noises or movements around him would send him off into a short lasting panic heart racing rapidly.

"Echo..do you want any stuff from the shop while we're passing through?" October asked grinning knowing that he would say no "Actually your coming with me they sell maps we can get one and then draw our plan out!" He turned around mouthing explicits at her stupid idea he had no time to just pop in to a shop the risk of being caught would be immensely high!

"Are you crazy!? Theirs no way I'm going in that place! I'll be found quicker then you can blink! I'll wait outside for you if you so desperately need a map!" Crossing his arms an angry face replacing his concentration. He though he was the crazy one but he guessed wrong.
