Snake Season

Prologue

Lost in earth's deep caves underground there are four snakes. The snake of Winter, Frost, the snake of Spring, Willow, the snake of Summer Leo. Finally the snake of Autumn, Orla. long ago they all spent their lives above ground. They were royal and known by the entire world. However things changed. The humans were tired of the constant battles taking place on the planet. Every other year battles would take place over small things. Royal battles that destroyed villages and created global warming. The fighting created new lands. They created new continents and huge mountains, but it also caused flooding and massive damage to the people of earth. Lives ended and many humans were buried deep underground. The snakes were huge and towered over the humans. The fight to calm them down grew old. So a village leader whose name went unspoken rose up to change how life was. He went on a search to find a magical being named Altar. Altar was a wise young man who had been studying the snakes and he understood their importance and power. The village leader was filled with fear however and did not grasp the importance of these mystical creatures. The battle had to end, the war had to be over. The village leader kidnapped Altar and forced him to make a spell. A spell that changed the world, but Altar was greater than this. He refused to make this spell. The village leader was not going to give up and began to torchure Altar. Altar finally broke. It was a cold winter morning and the forecast was nothing but snow and clouds. Altar cried as his spells began to take effect , it was a trapping spell. All four snakes were forced underground and their reign over the seasons was over. You can hear their cries underground if everyone remains quiet. Altar left a loophole in the spell. However this meant nothing. the seasons where twisted and the earth froze over. Ice age is what these humans called it. The village leader was afraid as he realized what he had done. Villages across the globe froze over. Earth was unbalanced. Altar became and insane. He had betrayed his friends and this drove him mad. He left civilisation and hid in the mountains. No one has seen him since this time. some say he ended his life on the mountain, but no one is sure. Now the date is 2019 and the earth is rumbling. Its thirsty for the snakes to come up and rule again. The earth and nature are both ready. Can the life on Earth take it?
