The sound of your heart thumping filled your ears. You were currently seated in one of your father's cars, on your way to start a new page of your life. Finally, being able to attend a prestigious institution would open new doors for you, or so you thought.
However, the old man was not messing around with his new mission in setting bodyguards to follow you everywhere. You were seated in the backseat of the car between two men in black. In front, one was driving and another one in the passenger's seat.
The other three were probably following too, you thought.
Your thoughts vanished and your eyes sparkled in pure delight at the sight the big building. Students filled the place, going in and out, and some interacting with others. You imagined how you were going to be one of them soon, how you were going to be able to make a few friendships, eat together and hang out together.
For your first semester ever, your schedule was busy, but not too much. It did leave you time for yourself―not that you minded. Being trapped between the walls of the Bang mansion, you had no problem in spending your upcoming days between the huge walls of the library, studying.
Even the thought of studying, that must be the worst nightmare of most students, you did not view it in the same way. On the contrary; you were curious of what university had to offer for you.
Your thoughts were so consumed with reverie that when you came back to reality, you had remembered who you are, thus the reason why you became the center of attention within a few seconds.
Not only you were the famous daughter of Bang Shihyuk and your face was in different articles, but you were also surrounded by seven men in black suits.
Instead of paying attention to the negative side, you decided to focus on the good instead.
"First class starts in ten minutes," The man next to you spoke. Taking a good look at him, you realized that he was the one that had had the guts to call you 'naughty kitten', on your very first meeting.
"Nine minutes." His voice was deep and cold, and you knew you couldn't mess with this one. After all, he was the one who caught you while you were trying to escape from your home. He probably got eyes everywhere, but that fact still would not hold you back from doing what was on your mind.
He checked his watch and raised a brow. "Eight minutes. Don't waste your time. You can stare at me later when we get back home." The edges of his lips twitched up to form a smirk that you wanted to rip off so bad.
Deciding to not take his words to heart, you walked straight ahead, all while ignoring the looks you were getting. Some looked at you in awe to finally see you in person, some looked at you with surprise, and some with jealousy. Being well-known always had its perks.
You were a bit relieved to see that only two bodyguards remained by your side, knowing that the five others had spread a bit around the institution, still making sure to stay around if an urgency came up.
