Today is the day I, Tina Wallis, move to a new life. It hurts to know that the people I've grown up with are not coming with me on my journey and I'm going to miss them so much. I just wish Sarah and Abbie would move with me but I guess this is what is destined and I can't change it.
As I stand at the doorway of my bedroom it's emptiness reminds me of the great memories I've made here. This has been my room for 16 years now but I guess it's time to move on. That's what my father always used to say, before he passed away. My father was a great man I've heard although it was unfortunate that I don't remember him. He passed away when I was 3 so I can't say that I miss him but I guess it would always nice to have had someone to call "dad". This doesn't mean my I have any less love for my mum, it just means she has to give us double the love. "Us" being me and my sister. Her name is Jordyn and she's my twin sister.
Jordyn and I have always been there for each other and I love that she supports me, we've never been apart.
So that's my introduction. As I head down the stairs I notice a huge van pull out of our driveway. This means all of our stuff is getting driven to our new house already and we should probably leave. I gather my things and get in the back of the car with Jordyn and mum in the front seat. Personally, I love adventures and meeting new people so this should be fun.
As I look out the window I see the buildings getting prettier and way more modern by the second - this means we are in central London and I'm so excited. Jordyn seems to be as pumped up as me and we both are impatient to see our rooms in the new house. Mum promised us that we get our own rooms and they are both huge. As we pull into our new driveway our beautiful home painted a lovely cream colour stands out. The shiny new windows glint as the rays of the sun hit upon it.
As we can see the truck with all our stuff comes just on time (thank God we took a short cut or they'd be here before us).As I walk into our new home my eyes widen at the appearance of it. It looks just like a dream. A massive living room with a huge sofa and flat screen television and probably the biggest kitchen I've seen ever with the door to a garden bigger than the one we had at home!
Jordyn is so shocked she has her eyes wide open the whole time and is speechless. I drag her upstairs and let her choose which rooms she wants first, because I'm such a nice sister. So she picks the room having a view of our garden but I'm actually glad since the view of my window is of the street and I'd love to see it everyday.
We get a doorbell rings and we both decide to open it together, since its our first guest, we wonder who it could be since we moved in about 10 minutes ago.
