The start of a new beginning

After school that day they all met up and decided to come back to Tina and Jordyn's house. They had become really good friends now and were getting closer.

Their mum wasn't home as they she was still at work. Which meant no disturbances. As Tina walked into the kitchen with Reece, Jordyn and Blake headed into the living room. Tina asks, "Hey Reece, want anything to eat or drink?". Reece looks around the kitchen and spots orange juice, "Yeah sure. You have orange juice?". As Tina pours the orange juice Reece can't help but stare at her beautiful smile that sends his heart beating fast. It was as if Tina could sense it and without looking, asked him "why are you staring at me?". Reece looks to the floor and backs away a little, "me, I wasn't staring I haven't a clue what your talking about". Tina replies with a smirk "yeah sure and I'm Mitchelle Obama". Tina brings the glass forward to Reece and without hesitation puts his hand around hers, locking their hands and the glass between them. They longingly stare into each other's eyes when they hear voices. Someone was coming.

Jordyn walks towards the kitchen replying to Blake, "Yeah sure, come I'll show you the kitchen". Jordyn and Blake realise they came at the wrong moment and stand at the doorway to the kitchen. "Ahem". As Tina and Reece hear this the glass drops from their hands and a loud breaking sound comes from the floor. The orange juice spilled over the whole floor and the glass was shattered into hundreds of pieces.

Reece apologises for breaking the glass and helps to pick the pieces up. "I'm so sorry this is all my fault, I let go". "It's fine Reece it was my fault I let go as well". As Tina helped to pick up the pieces a piece of glass a shard of it cut her finger and she started to bleed. Jordyn notices that her hand started bleeding "Tina your hand is bleeding don't pick up the glass, you should've used gloves. Wait, I'll get the first aid kit. Don't move." Tina roles her eyes "Jordyn I'm fine don't worry I'll just run it over with water". Reece takes Tina's hand and leads her into the living room. "Hey where are you taking me Reece I want to help". Reece sets her down on the sofa tells her that "you are not picking up the glass and look your bleeding, I can't see you get hurt".

Blake comes in with the first aid kit and hands it to Reece. Reece takes out an antiseptic and a plaster. As he takes the cream out of the tube and starts to apply it Tina takes her hand back and says "it stings, can't I just run it under water?". "Tina, look into my eyes, nothing will happen to you". Tina looks into his blue eyes. She sees a thousand oceans and could get lost in them forever. She realises that Reece stopped putting cream on a while ago and is just staring into her eyes. He leans closer and so does Tina until the limited space between them is no more.

Jordyn and Blake decide to take a step outside into the garden to catch the fresh air. Since they have just moved in, their garden seems pretty empty and has a lot of space. Blake breaks the silence between them as he'd had something on his mind and needed to tell Jordyn.

Blake: "So Jordyn, I really wanted to ask you"

Jordyn: "Yeah what's up"

Blake takes Jordyn by the hand and pulls her close, opposite her. He takes both her hands and locks them with his.

Blake: "I really like you Jordyn"

Jordyn looks away to the grass as Blake tries to look into her eyes. He can see that she's blushing as her rosy cheeks stand out.

Jordyn: "I don't know what to say. I'm.."

Blake: "I want us to be together, Jordyn. I can't hide away from my feelings and I know you feel the same way."

Jordyn looks up to Blake's eyes and doesn't say anything, yet smiles. Blake leans and soon, Jordyn does the same as the way they feel about each other is shared between them both and they don't need words to describe it.

This, for both Tina and Jordyn is a new beginning.
