Kise Ryouta

A group of giggling girls ran past by me in the hallway, talking and squealing to themselves as if I didn't exist. It was the sixth time it happened today. Only two of them acknowledged the awesome Kise Ryouta's existence.

What. Is. Happening?!

Never in my life had I felt so ignored and unnoticed. It's so lonely, gloomy, and depressing! Why, it felt like Kurokocchi's misdirection was passed to me! (The pun was unintended.) So this is how he lives everyday, huh? Poor Kurokocchi~!

Sighing, I passed by the Anime Club's room since it was on my way to the basketball court. Out of habit, I scanned the room through the little window on the door for a certain white-haired girl. Don't put any meaning into it! Friends are supposed to look for each other and greet each other, right? I intended to make a casual wave and a friendly smile as I passed by.

Again, she wasn't there. My eyes met my sister's instead. She flicked a stray strand of blonde hair away from her face then made a sinister smirk specially aimed at me which never failed to make shivers run down my spine. I walked faster and pretended nothing happened. I had no idea what she's up to these days but I'm pretty sure it has something to do with me.

I soon reached the great outdoors of Kaijou High. As always, it was bustling with activity due to the fact that lots of sports-related clubs were having their practice. Of course, only a few clubs got indoor courts and the amazing basketball team's one of them! I strode my way to the court when a familiar voice called my name.

I stopped, turned around, and faced the owner only to find a girl with short brown hair styled with a yellow headband walk towards me. She was wearing a different uniform - a light blue sailor-like one. Something about her was awfully familiar. It hit me after a few seconds. The Suzumiya Haruhi cosplayer was Mashiro-chan. As planned, I waved casually and made a friendly smile. Instead of running towards her and greeting her, I just waited for her. I didn't want to look so overenthusiastic.

"On your way to your club?" she asked, looking up at me with her now golden eyes. "Let's go together!"

I nodded, grinning and accepting her offer. "Yeah! Kasamatsu-senpai might kill me if I skip practice again!" I whined. "He even bullies me when I'm late!" We started taking a leisurely walk towards the court together.

Mashiro-chan giggled. "He doesn't really seem scary to me..." she replied a little thoughtfully.

"It's because he has a multiple personality disorder," I deadpanned, attempting to look as serious as ever. "He becomes a bully type when he's on Basketball-Team-Captain Mode."

She laughed heartily in reply. "Make sure he doesn't hear that, though!" She winked at me with a knowing grin. Uwaaa~ She's so cute~! I laughed.

I then noticed that she was carrying a blue bag which seemed to be filled with CD's. I pointed to it. "What are those for?" I asked, gesturing the offer to carry it for her.

She handed the bag to me anyway then made a thankful smile. "Just a little something for your tea---"

"Kyaaa~! Keiichi-senpai's here!" a girl squealed, pulling her friend towards the court.

"He is?! OH MY GOSH! Let's go!" her friend responded and joined the squealing, pulling the girl to their destination.

I suddenly felt kind of jealous and curious of this 'Keiichi-senpai'. I mean, I remember those second years who were my fangirls! What power does he have to take my fans away from me?
