Today is the day
I thought to myself as I gazed at my own reflection on the mirror, the light shedding a tint of that warm unscathed sensation you get when you're home. Home - the only place you'll ever feel secure, well that's what I thought atleast.
After the chaos has been freed from this place one would think everything has never been better than before, some would even say Arendelle has reached its 'Golden Age'. Well for the kingdom's sake anywaysn there's yet that one aspect that until now has yet to be resolved - an aspect that has long bothered me since the beginning of my reign.
Nevertheless, my mind snapped back to reality as I heard two faint knocks from the door before it opened to reveal Gerda and two maids under her hand behind her. "Her higness is waiting at the throne room, ma'am." She said; clasping her hands together.
"Thank you, Gerda." I said followed by a soft smile, after all she has been like a mother to me in the absence of my own biological one. With that she bowed her head and closed the door, I let my gaze fall on my reflection on the mirror again. I've long dreaded for this day to come and at last it has, too long had I waited for justice to be sought for the crimes that he had committed to my kingdom, to my sister and to me. Crimes that did not only put the crown in disdain but crimes that violated me personally.
Today, I woke up a person different from the person that I was yesterday. I'm more powerful, more stronger than I ever was when those very doors were closed.
Today, I face the man who has changed the isolated world that I had dwelt on.
