Chapter :22

Hey sweeties sorry for the late update but can't help because i am stuck with my exams. And ya happy tamil new year to everyone. (Being south indian as it's own perks). Ok let's move into the story shall we. Here you go.

Aayani 's pov :

Aayu : I killed someone.

Sultan : what?

He was seeing me with disbelief even I couldn't believe myself that I did something like this. Being a doctor I should save a life but here I took one. I broke down with all pain I was kept inside me from morning.

Sultan shook his head then he came to me and took me in his arms. The warmth spread inside me I felt at peace but I can't do this I am a freaking murderer. This thought made me pull away from him. But he being him didn't let me but otherwise he made me sit on the couch facing the French window where I was sitting before and kneeled down beside me. He cupped my face and looked at me lovingly.

Sultan : Aayu calm down, you are not a murderer ok? Now relax and tell me what happened and why are you talking like this.

Aayu : *sob* no sultan *sob*I am a murderer *sob*.

Sultan : shhh! Baby girl stop crying it'd ok now tell me everything.

Aayu : *sob* today morning I went to hospital as usual I had patients and surgeries to do. My last surgery was complicated so it took longer than I had thought. When I reached my Cabin it was already past 9. Seeing that I started to pack my bags to leave. Then he came *sob* *sob* *sob*.

I couldn't talk more I don't want to talk about it as if reading my mind sultan Hugged me tightly and started to console me.

Sultan : shhh aayu who was he? What happened? Tell me see I am with you. Nothing will happen tell me.

Aayu : I was packing my bags to go then there came Dr. Samar he is son of deen he got posting in my hospital as gyno. I just met him thrice, but that meeting was not at all comfortable he started to flirt with me even knowing I am married to you. Same happened today too he came and started talking all rubbish about spending night with him how he will pleasure me everything. *sob* I got angry so I slapped him hard on his cheeks and asked him to get lost. *sob*.he got more furious he came near me and started to force himself on me *sob* *sob* HE TRIED TO RAPE ME sultan. *sob*..

Sultan : He what? 😱

AUTHORS POV :

Sultan was too shocked to say anything. He was furious. more than anyone he was furious on  himself. from childhood he promised her and madhu that he will not let anything happen to them. first he failed as brother. when rk hurt madhu he couldn't do anything. he from first noticed how rk was changing after ria entered his life. but he just shrugged all the negative thoughts and was busy with his own love story. and now love of his life. even though he felt betrayed when aayani supported her brother with his acts instead standing with with madhu. but not for once he thought to hurt her physically. he agree that he avoided her behaved cold with her that to keep himself from  falling for her again. but now he felt ashamed that he couldnt protect his love when some p***k tried to molest her. he really feels like shit seeing her crying like this. he now can only do something that is to hug her tight to say her he is with her. he too did the same, but with more to it he cried silently along with her. what the love birds don't know is ammi and amba listened to their conversation. actually in evening when aayani came all sad and didn't response for their questions and not came to have dinner with them they guessed something is extremely wrong. at first they thought as usual sultan would have said something to hurt her but not for once they thought their little girl would have faced something like this. Both Ammi and Amba had tears in their eyes. they went towards aayani and sultan got aayani on their mother hold. aayani wailed more loudly on her mother and MIL warmth. ammi was the first one to broke the silence.

Ammi :  Then what you did dear. say us fully what happened did he do anything to you? please sweet heart tell us stop crying and tell us. just know that whatever it is we are with you.

Aayu:  Ammi he tried to force himself on me i pushed him and tried to run away from there. as today its raining heavily from morning most of the staff didn't come today. only who had cases lined up came they all went once their case completed. as mine got delayed i stayed behind with two nurse and one intern. i sent them all home once the operation is done. as it was raining heavily.*sob* that was the mistake i done. when i try to run away and shout for help from this beast *sob* there was no one present to help me. *sob* *sob* 

Amba :  ow mere bacha how much you went through.*sob* then what happened baby?

Aayani : *sob* *sob* He........ started ..*sob* to ..re..remove his clothes *sob* and..... was *sob* trying to...*sob* remove...*sob* *sob* mine too......*sob* [ sultan had his eyes closed and his hands in feast. ammi kept one hand on her mouth and started to cry silently and her other hand on sultan's shoulder to control her son. and amba was hugging aayani and crying along with her but soon calmed herself and consoled herself and tried to calm her daughter. after some seconds later everyone prepared to hear worse ] at that time when i tried... something to ..save myself *sob* i got the knife which i used *sob* from previous operation.when he tried *sob* *sob* to make me touch his private part *sob* *sob* i slashed his d***k with the knife.*sob* *sob*. as you know the private parts have a nerve connected with brain and heart. { i am not a medical student so i really don't know if it is true or not so bare with it } HE DIED . *sob* then i ran away from there. *sob* I MURDERED SOMEONE *sob* *sob*.

with that aayani fell down on the floor crying hysterically. they couldn't be more proud of her for standing for herself. sultan wiped all the tears from his face and bent down to reach for his love took her in his arms and kissed all over her face. now he felt peace when he came to know nothing happened to her. ammi and amba consoled each other and they to kissed her forehead.

Sultan : Aayu look at me. [ but she didn't so he himself made her see him ] see here you didn't  kill someone did you get me. you just protected yourself from a beast. infact you should be proud that you stood for yourself. i am not saying this only because i am your husband or something.i am saying this as a Police Officer too. in law too its not considered as a murder. so stop thinking more and relax. be proud for what you did.

Ammi : Sultan is right aayu you didn't murder but you did VADH OF A RAKSHASH. so stop thinking more. eat something and go and have peaceful sleep baby .

Aayu :  but.....

Amba : NO if's and but's YOU DID NOT DO ANYTHING WRONG BUT YOU DID THE RIGHT THING YOU SAVED YOURSELF AND ANOTHER GIRL WHO COULD BE HIS NEXT PREY. so now stop thinking . Sultan take her upstairs i will bring food for you both.

Ammi : And one more thing no one will taalk about this again. Good night.

With that peaceful night stretched in kundra's mansion that day.
