Babysitting

"I'll pick her up at five. Promise I won't be late!", Lou says practically shouting out the door. I hold Lux in my arms as I close the door and walk inside.

"What do you want to do? We can cook, watch tv, play something, sleep, anything you want", I smile at her and she smiles back at me and her tiny arms wrap around my neck. "I don't know", she says in her small voice. I start walking towards the living room and sit on the couch. Lux sits on my lap, her tiny legs around my waist, facing me. She plays with my hair.

"Fuck!" I hear Harry scream as he bumps into something on our room. Lux immediately turns her head towards the room.

"Harry?" She asks me in her cute voice.

"Yeah, wanna see him?" She shakes her head yes, very excited. "Well he'll be right out. Harry, someone is waiting for you!" I shout and Lux laughs, very excited to see Harry. I put her down on the floor and once her feet are steady she grabs my hand as if we haven't seen Harry in ages and he's coming out of the airport. He pops his head out the hallway but his body stays hidden behind the wall.

"I heard someone laughing. Who could it be?" Lux turns to look at me laughing, knowing that Harry is playing with her. "A little girl with blonde hair and little black boots maybe. But where could she be?" He looks up to the ceiling pretending not to see Lux and she laughs even more. Harry comes out from hiding behind the wall and opens his arms to her. That's Lux's cue to go hug him.

She does just that and runs towards him. When she gets to Harry he falls to the floor hugging Lux and I can't help but laugh at the sight. He sits on the floor with Lux in his arms.

"Miss me?" He asks Lux and she smiles and says yes, hugging him tighter. "I missed you too. Did you bring your makeup kit?" Lux nods smiling and Harry forms a O with his mouth.

"Maybe you girls can play with it later."

"I think she wants to put her makeup on you." I say laughing and she nods along. "Maybe, we'll see", Harry says.

They both get up and I go to the kitchen to heat up lunch. Harry and Lux arrive there a few seconds later and he sits her on the counter.

"Burritos? Looks good, right?" I'm about to answer him but stop myself when I see he's talking to Lux. He's wearing a black plain t-shirt, jeans and just socks. His hair is up like always and he looks gorgeous, like always. He stares at Lux and he smiles. We end up eating the burritos in the living room, on the couch even though I protested against it.

A while later Lux brings her small makeup kit from her bag and gives it to me. Harry and I stay silent as he picks her up and sets her on his lap. She takes out some eye shadows and puts her small hands on Harry's eyes. He closes them without a word and she starts brushing the eye shadow over his eye.

She applies some blush on his cheeks. "How am I looking?"

"Shh", Lux and I say and he laughs. She applies pink lipstick on his lips and literally orders him to brush his lips together. Her hands go in the air as if saying she's done.

"How do I look?" Hary turns to look at me and I can't help but laugh. "You look absolutely gorgeous. if you were a girl what would your name be? I have to ask your mom that." I laugh and he laughs along with us.

"I don't know."

"I think Harriet fits perfectly."

After the makeup session, Lux decides on Toy Story 2 and she ends up sleeping on Harry's lap, her head on his chest. His left hand is on my thigh and his other hand rests on Lux's leg, holding her in place so she doesn't fall. I rest my head on his shoulder.

"Sleepy?" I feel a kiss on my head. "Not at all. Just wanted to rest my head, my neck hurts."

"I'm gonna take Lux to our bed", he comes closer to my ear to whisper the rest of his sentence, "so we can cuddle here." He kisses my cheek and makes a move to stand up.

"No don't do that."

"Why not? She'll sleep better anyway."

I look up at him and when I'm about to answer him he says, "don't tell me you want to go to our bed to do dirty things to me and leave her here..." He says with a playful smirk on his face.

"No you genius, I meant leave her here with us because if she wakes up alone she might get scared."

"I don't buy that, you want to do things to me and won't admit it." He laughs and I smile at his humor, gently hitting him on his leg for saying that.

"She looks so cute", I tell him, touching her cheek.

"Yeah, she's a cute kid." A ring sounds and I get up to open the door. Lou comes in and grabs Lux from Harry's arms. She thanks us for the favor, laughs at Harry and leaves. I close the door and Harry pushes me towards the door, resting his hands on my hips.

"Want a baby?" He's holding a big smirk on his face as he licks his lips.

"What?! Are you crazy?" I tell him laughing and shoving him away, "not right now at least."

"Good I don't want one right now either, but we can practice?" He says raising his eyebrows in approval.

"Yeah we can practice." I tell him and a smile forms on his face. I smile too. He bends down and grabs my thighs and puts them around his waist.

"Maybe this is going to sound weird or I don't know but... You..." I say tangling my fingers on his hair.

"You what?" He waits.

"You would be a great dad. You are going to love your kids so much and make them so happy. And don't break up with me or run away but I want to have babies with you. Not now, but maybe in the future."

His smile gets bigger and he kisses my nose and my lips. "Making babies with you would be the best thing ever", he says and kisses my nose again. "And you would be the uptight mum, I'm gonna be the cool dad."

"Hey, I'm not uptight. I'm fun", I say pouting.

"Yes, you're very fun and they will love you too."

"Okay lets stop talking about hypothetical kids because it's creepy", I kiss his cheek, "and not going to happen any time soon."

"Lets go practice then."

"Hold it. We have to clean your face first, Harriet. Bathroom." He puts me on my feet and I walk first, heading upstairs to the bathroom.

He laughs and frowns. "Stop calling me Harriet."
