"I have a surprise for you."
"Do you now?" I say as I raise my eyes from my book to see Harry kneeling in front of me.
He smiles his beautiful smile and I mirror him. "Stand up." He grabs both my hands and pulls me from the couch.
He spins his finger in my face. "Turn around."
I do as I'm requested and everything goes black.
"Is this necessary?" I say as Harry ties a bandana around my head to cover my eyes.
"It is necessary. It's a surprise."
I feel his lips on my temple as he hugs me from behind. "Come on." He pulls away and grabs my hands to guide me to where ever he is taking me.
"Care to tell me where we are going?"
"You'll find out soon, be patient."
I start to hear voices, people shouting for help and chairs being moved.
"Are we outside?" I ask him.
He stops walking and I bump into his back. "We are."
His arms go around my neck and he kisses me softly. His hands undo the knot of the bandana to take it off so I can see.
The first thing I see are his eyes, staring into mine as he comes closer to kiss me again. I pull him closer and he smiles.
"What are we doing here in the middle of the stadium?"
"Lunch." He moves over to my side to reveal a picnic blanket and a basket.
"We're gonna have lunch here in the middle of the stadium while everyone around us is working?" I smile at him and he nods.
"Hungry?"
He makes a move to sit on the floor but I stop him. I come closer to kiss his cheek. "This is so sweet of you, thanks."
"This is nothing." He kisses my lips quickly. "I love you."
I tangle my fingers in his hair. "I love you more."
He pulls me down to sit on the floor and hands me the basket so I can open it. I find two tuppers with orzo and shrimp. Two others with salad and two cups for the raspberry tea.
"Wow, did you cook all of this?"
He smiles and nods.
"Really?"
"Okay no, I didn't but I helped Sarah I swear."
"I believe you." I laugh at him.
After we finish our lunch, Harry pulls me to sit between his legs and rest my head on his chest. I hear and feel his heartbeat against my ear.
"Can you pass the dessert please?"
"There's dessert on your basket?" I turn around to ask him.
"Of course there is."
I sit straight and pull the basket to find angel cake.
"Angel cake?" I smile at him and laugh.
"Only the best. That I did myself."
His hands are busy holding his weight so I feed him a spoon full of cake. "You baked this?"
"I did and it's pretty damn good."
"I want some of that cake." I turn around to see Zayn and Niall walking towards us. Niall comes to say hi and then leaves. Zayn takes a seat on the floor next to Harry and grabs the spoon that was meant for me.
"Did you buy something for me?" Harry asks Zayn.
Zayn laughs before answering. "No, man. I bought some t-shirts and that was it. This cake is great, where did you get it?"
"Harry baked it."
"Did you?"
Harry nods as he licks the spoon clean. "I did. Before you start laughing at me I will gladly teach you the recipe so you can bake it for Perrie."
I laugh at Harry's comment and hug him. He always makes such nice gestures for me, like this picnic. I plant a small kiss on his cheek and whisper in his ear, "I love you."
"We should head back, these guys need to get everything ready." Zayn says. He pats Harry's back and walks towards the stage.
"Lets stay here ten more minutes please..." I turn around and display my best puppy eyes at him. His fingers push my hair back and I close my eyes at his gentle moves.
"Fine, ten more minutes." His lips kiss my nose softly and I smile.
"Tomorrow I can handle lunch since you did this today."
He raises his eyebrows and smiles. "Okay but you have to cook."
"Hey, you didn't cook this so why do I have to cook?"
"At least I baked the cake so..."
I smile and pinch his cheek. "Okay deal, I'll prepare something."
"Good."
"I know I said ten minutes but we should go." I tell him.
He frowns and looks adorable. "Fine, lets go."
We pick up the basket and the blanket we were laying on. As we walk back to the stage, Harry takes my hand and kisses my knuckles.
"Thank you for being here with me."
"I like Texas." I shrug my shoulders and look up so see him smiling.
"You're here because you like Texas or me?"
I swing our intertwined hands back and forth. "Both. I do like you a little more than Texas."
"I would think so."
"Thank you for lunch, I had a great time. I missed you a little."
"Baby, I've been with you for the last week."
"Yeah but you're constantly dispersed with work and the concerts so, when we're together you're a little distracted. But today you were all mine."
"I'm always yours. I'm sorry, I didn't know you felt that way."
We stopped walking. We're standing in the middle of the stage, staring at each other. "You don't have to apologise Harry, it's your job and I understand. This lunch was perfect."
He smiles at me. "You are going to stick around for the concert, right?"
"Obviously, where else am I gonna be tonight?"
His lips are pink and full. His kiss is soft and slow as his hands hold me against his body.
"Picnic tomorrow again or where are we gonna eat?"
"Ah, leave that to me. It'll be a surprise." I smile at him.
