Brandi's P.O.V.
"What the heck Abril!??!?!!" Jason yelled. Abril grinned evilly. I looked down into the churning water, there was no sign of Amory.
"That wasn't very nice, Bril" David admonished. Since when did he call her Bril? How could he be friends with that, that witch! Where was Amory? She should have come up by now!
"Where is she!?" I said, worriedly. Brant put his hand on my shoulder, but this time I found little comfort in his touch. My best friend was still at the mercy of the brutal blue waters.
"She's just being a brat. Trying to get us to worry. Well its not gonna work." Abril stated, smirking.
I glared at her.
"If you really think she would do that then you really never did know her." I practically yelled at her. "I can't believe you pushed her!!"
"It was just a joke, Brandi." David said. I rounded on him.
"You know, David, for someone who was begging forgivness just a couple days ago, you sure aren't at all concerned!"
He flinched. Abril smirked and wrapped her snakelike arms around his waist.
"That's cause he likes me." She said.
"Sorry to interupt your moment of drama, but she should have come up by now!" Jason said.
David shrugged. Shrugged!!!
"She's just playing!" Abril insisted. Jason gave her a hard look before jumping into the ocean.
"She probably is just playing." David said.
"Not for this long." I said. A shadow of doubt crossed his face.
We all looked into the water for any sign of our missing friends.
Jason came up with a gasp for air, in his arms lay an unconscience Amory. Hot needles pricked at my eyes. The beginning of tears.
"Amory!" I cried. Hot tears flew down my cheeks.
Abril's face went very pale.
"Oh my gosh!" David said.
And then i saw the dark red blood flowing down from a gash at her temple.
I started sobbing, Brant took me into his arms.
"It's ok, she's gonna be okay" He whispered, over and over.
I tried to believe him but i couldn't. Not with all the blood spilling into the water.
Jason pulled her to shore. Common sense returned to me.
"We have to call 911!!!!" I yelled, running off the dock towards the house.
The rest was a blur.
There was yelling, Jason took his shirt off and tryed to stop the bleeding but it quickly became soaked. I cried and cried. I remember shaking Amory, calling for her to wake up and Brant pulling me away when the paramedics came.
I remember Jason riding away in the ambulance, face pale with worry.
David drove Brant, Olivia, Michael, and me to the hospital. Abril tryed to come but I wouldn't let her.
All i could think was, please dont die, please dont die, please dont die!
The smell of antiseptic flooded my nose as we walked into the white walled hospital. The lady at the desk looked up at me with cold blue eyes.
"Can I help you?" She asked, all buisness.
"Yes! I'm looking for Amory Willis."
"Room 132 in the ICU."
