Azur repeated the message to himself over and over again. He couldn't forget it, Subor would probably kill him if he did. This was one of the most important messages he has ever delivered. Even when he repeated the message over and over again he couldn't resist the urge to think about other things. He took in his surroundings with great interest. His diamond blue eyes shone brightly in the morning sun, his grey fur swaying gently with the soft breeze. The burrows surrounding were defended by the same amber eyed wolves, but their fur a slight orange tinge, most were omega's who were ranked down by Lyracus. The snow hadn't began it's fall but it's remnants carpeted the ground. Azur past the trees beyond the burrows, wondering if morning could get any better than this. The trees stood tall, snow mounted upon it's leaves, held by the sturdy branches that stuck out at all sorts of angles. All sorts of smells were present as well, Azur's favorite sense. He took in all the different smells he could, remembering to keep clear of the territorial wolves. Those wolves often left behind smells of urine and sweat. His legs sunk into the snow as he stopped to take in his surroundings once more. The icy river flowed steadily past everything, not a care in the world.

Azur stopped quite suddenly in his tracks "The message!"

What was the message? Azur dragged himself away from the outer world and it's wonders to try and recall what the message was. It was important, I know that much, but what was it? Azur paced along the rivers edge. He began panting in fear, the wind seemed furious now, the trees seemed threats, and he felt as though he was invading someones territory.

"I, um, I, oh what was it? I, resign from my positive? No that doesn't make any sense"

"HEY, WHAT ARE YOU DOING OUT HERE?" Delreaga was in a real state, but then again when was she not? Unlike most her eyes were still a light blue which looked as though they were bits of the sky, her fur was slightly black on the tips which made many think she was once burnt. She smelt of fresh moist grass like always. Although she was mad, she still had the sweet sound of innocence in her voice. Azur absorbed his surroundings to find that in his pacing he had wondered onto the banks of the river. This particular bank was known to be nothing short of deadly.

He couldn't let such a shameful mistake be known "Just thinking, Delreaga"

She considered him for a moment, eyes reducing to slits "Don't go wondering around were it's dangerous, we need you pups." He watched the dense air trail from her mouth when she spoke. He didn't like her to much, most of the pups didn't. She always told them what to do and when to do it, is that even aloud for delta wolves? Azur returned to the right path and began his thoughts once more.

"I, I, I resign, yes that's it, I resign my, my, my positive, my position, yeh that's it I resign my position as, um, as Led beta, no, lead beta, I DID IT! and the last part was, um, oh yeh asking to put Zegra in his place!"

Azur pelted up to a tree threw his front legs forwards and pushed himself backwards from the tree in rejoice. He had to got to Lyracus now. through the now harsh sunlight Azur could make out two figures laying upon a hill of snow. The area smelt beautiful, the trees and moss threw their aura at him along with the cold yet fresh air. The snow felt colder under his paws than back at the burrows. He looked on at the pair of wolves, getting ready to intervene upon their conversation. Lyracus was a brave and daring wolf, he would never bow down at a fight, he had pure white fur upon his stomach and legs but has a sudden change in heart on his back, tail and his face as it is a midnight black. He had gorgeous golden eyes which such colour was only shared by Subor and Zegra (the second beta to Subor). His mate Heulia was just as, if not even more courage's than Lyracus was and much smarter, she had fair fur which swayed rhythmically with Lyracus' fur, her eyes were th most unique of the pack as they were a mesmerizing lime green.

"We need to call the other packs, an alliance with the ravens needs to be of order."

"We cannot trust them Lyracus, you know what they did with their last alliance?"

"Yes, but they help us find food and us them, they are closer to us than any other army."

"I do not give a damn how close they are to us when hunting, we might end up their prey"

"And if we do we'll be there to fight the battle"

"Just because we could win the battle doesn't mean we should go causing it."

"I-" Azur cut in before Lyracus could send his argument.

"Um, hello, I come with a message from your lead beta Subor" Azur shook under the powerful gaze of both the alpha's.

"Proceed" All of Lyracus' anger had drained from his bark.

Suddenly the world seemed to have all eyes upon him, one slip up and he could be the first lone wolf of the pack. Clearing his throat he recited the message

"Subor of the gray wolf army has, um, chosen to resign from his position as lead beta and kindly wishes for Zegroo, I mean Zegra to fill the role."

There was a flicker of anger across Lyracus' eyes, anger was starting to grab hold of him. Heulia clearly noticed the growing fury that would soon emerge from his mouth too. She stood up on all four paws and nodded towards Azur.

"You may go now"
