"I'm heading to the lost crypt. It's said to hold great riches."

Lalea's point of view-

The magi guild was massive, constructed of mostly stone and marble. Banners with the magi insignia, a dragon, hung up and either side of the large doorway, a diamond painted above. The building resembled that of a castle, consisting of three large floors. The roof had battlements lined around the edges and two towers on either side of the building.
The inside was just as grand, polished marble flooring, flags of the monarchy hung along the walls, glomming chandeliers with sparkling diamonds hanging from the ceiling. In each wall was a marble carving of the magic goddess who was said to protect all existing magic. The ceiling was arched, covered in clear windows and paintings depicting the ancient magi who formed this guild and the goddess of magic protecting them all, standing like divinity within the center of it all.
Landen was always distracted by the beauty of it, although how can I blame her? It was absolutely stunning, a chore just to rip your eyes away from it. A few other magi stood around and basked.

"Come on, sweetheart." I continued to gently pull her along.

Endy giggled behind us as she two marveled the interior design. "There's no need to rush."

I smiled at her response. As we continued on, I listened to the murmurs of the magi around us, watched the expressions of those who allowed their attention to draw towards us. Some remained silent, some basked at us, whispering "It's the god Drake's family" or "Filthy witches". Even within the guild, there was bound to be hate against my family with all of different people that arrived. I had grown used to it, pulling Landen closer as if I could shield her from their words.
We came across a wooden door in the wall, a sign on it that warned that only S-ranked magi were allowed to enter. Becoming an S-rank magi was not too difficult, well, if you were good in battle. Some of us were somewhat like mercenaries, hired to find crooks while others like myself were simply in close relation to the emperor, essentially royal magi.
We went into one of the towers in order to enter the second floor, winding upward with it's spiral steps. Once we reached the top and opened the door, we were greeted by a large room with many stained windows allowing in minimal light, chandeliers with diamonds hanging from the ceiling. There were a few wooden tables and chairs seated around the table for sitting. In it's own spot on the east wall was a bulletin board covered with missions for footmagi, as those who were hired by others were called, to take to assist others and raise money for the guild. It hung in the wall, adorned by velvet curtains with golden tassels.
Magi sat around at different tables, talking to each other as they waited for me to announce today's objectives. I was the head Mage after all, in charge of what was to go on. As we made our way across the room, we met with the same experience as with the lower floor; murmurs, staring eyes that was almost gawking.
My eyes were quick to see the table at with my closest comrades sat, my faction as we called it. There was Eleanor, long black hair and in a light blue cloak, Cecile, another royal Mage with blonde hair to his shoulders and bright blue eyes in grey and royal blue clothing. He used to be a slave to Alduin before Grayson set him free. Now he placed himself in the emperor's debt. The evidence of his previous captivity was present on the scars on his face.
Away from the other two was Alexa and Rosaline. Alexa was rather distant with others aside from Meron, Rosaline, and myself. Rosaline tried to keep Alexa company while Meron was gone, and while she and her got along, Alexa was still rather distant. She grew further away from me after Drake and I had wedded. She was never too fond of him, at least after the two had met. She had a fear of Enderman and, of course, Herobrine, this factor did not allow the two to get off on a good foot. I thought that eventually she would warm up to him, but it hasn't been as much as I would like.
As for Landen, she showed more care for her considering that she is my daughter, but I could always feel that she felt offset in her presence. Do to these factors, our relationship was not as healthy as it once was.
