I woke up in Jayden's arm, my body still tingling with pleasure. A smile immediately formed in my face, when the haze brought on by my dream-filled slumber cleared away and memories of what happened last night came to mind. I snuggled my head deeper into his chest, loving the heat that radiated off of him. It was amazing. A beautiful moment to live in.
... or it would have been, until I heard a loud crash from outside of the room, causing me to jump a bit, and waking up Jayden. The two of us shared a confused, and slightly panicked, look, before our looks melted into soft smiles.
"Hey" I said with a whisper, as Jayden moved closer to me, pulling me into a loving hug
"Hey" he chuckled, before he brought our lips together, just for a moment, before the sound of yelling interrupted our little moment "We should probably..." Jayden chuckled, gesturing towards the clothes we had left sprawled upon the floor
"Right, right" I said, a similar chuckle escaping my lips, before we both quickly got redressed and left the room to investigate.

Jayden and I left the room to find a rather... unexpected scene. Chris and Max were arguing over a bowl of what looked to be punch, which lied shattered on the floor, the liquid quickly being scrubbed up by Vicky and Heather, who looked beyond pissed. Probably because they were trying to clean whatever mess was made while Chris and Max were arguing.
"Uh... what did we walk in on?" Jayden asked with a confused chuckle
"We were preparing for some party we're having tonight by making some punch or something and Chris dropped the bowl filled with it" Max flatly stated
"I only dropped the bowl because you bumped into me!" Chris angrily argued
"I bumped into you?!" Max questioned, equally angry "You bumped into me!"
"Alright, hold on, pause for a second" Jayden said, clearly confused "What party?"
"Yeah, apparently we're having a massive party here, on account of the fact that it's Friday" Max said, rolling his eyes as if he found it pointless, although at this point, the room felt naked without some snide comment made by him, so seeing him being himself was somewhat of a comfort
"How many people are coming?" Jayden asked
"Like, maybe 30 people? give or take?" Chris casually said
"30 people?" I questioned
"Give or take" Chris confirmed. Wonderful. I could already feel my anxiety flaring up.
"Well, I guess we should get to work, then" Jayden said with a cute little smile, before he bent down and began to help collect what glass was left of the bowl, Heather and Vicky appreciating such very much. Chris and Max reluctantly made up before heading towards the kitchen, presumably to make more punch, and I personally joined Jayden, Heather and Vicky by grabbing a sponge and helping with the spilled drink.
Vicky seemed to keep looking between Jayden and I, as if trying to gauge something. Jayden didn't exactly seem to notice, or he chose to ignore it, either/or. I couldn't help but feel nervous. Did she know? If she did, was it because of Heather, or because we were... ahem... too loud? I pushed the thoughts aside, hoping for the best, before continuing to wash away the punch

Music blared through the air, the bass shaking and vibrating the very ground we walked upon. Chris wanted to test the speaker system early, so he was playing some obscure song while the rest of us worked to get the house party ready, so to speak. Honestly, at that point, even Vicky was sending him a harsh glare or two. He was the one planning this party, why wasn't he helping? We reluctantly worked on nonetheless. After-all, who doesn't love a good party?
(right, so hey everyone. I know I haven't updated this story in a while, and that this chapter isn't the best. I've just sorta been super depressed recently, said depression probably being amplified by the fact that I'm two days away from my birthday and I haven't done ANYTHING all year. ANYWAY, this story is coming to an end shortly. I hope that you enjoyed it, and if you did, be sure to visit my other stories :) peace out)
