I nodded and buckled my seatbelt, bracing myself. I closed my eyes and felt Elias grab my hand. I didn't squeeze cause I wanted to try and stay relaxed. I just kept my eyes closed and waited. I felt a change in direction but forced myself to stay relaxed. I took deep breaths to help, then we hit ground. I just kept taking deep breaths, thinking happy thoughts. I kept a good grip on his hand but not squeezing too tight. Just a relaxed, steady grip. Then everything stopped. I opened my eyes and looked around, seeing everyone was getting up. I looked at Elias and he smiled. "You did good." He said. I smiled and nodded. "I tried to stay relaxed." I said. "You did. I'm proud." He said. I smiled bigger and unbuckled myself. Elias grabbed our bags, then we followed everyone out. We walked out of the terminal and over to baggage claim and Elias grabbed the bags. I grabbed my bags to roll behind me. "Don't forget to call your dad when we get a rental." Elias reminded me. "Where do we get a rental?" I asked. "Over here." He said, so I followed him. "Where do I go to get Gabby?" I asked him. "Right over there." He said, pointing to the check in counter. I quickly walked over and the lady smiled at me. "I'm here to pick up my pet." I said. "What is your pet and the name?" She asked. "She's a baby fox, her name is Gabby." I said. She then walked away for A moment before returning with Gabby in her crate. "I can't let you have the crate, are you okay with carrying her?" She asked. "Yeah, I got her. Thank you." I smiled, opening the crate and grabbing her. She licked my face as A greeting and I giggled. I walked over to Elias and saw he had the key already. We walked out of the building and he pressed a button. The car made a noise, so we walked over to it. "Jeez, why am I so tired?" I asked as he opened the trunk, putting our bags in it. "Everyone is tired after a plane ride, babe." He smiled. "Well, excuse me. I didn't know." I giggled. He laughed and closed the trunk and I got in the front seat. I buckled myself in then turned my phone back on, going to my contacts. I hit call on my dad's contact and put it to my ear, waiting for him to answer. "Hello?" He said. "Hi, daddy. I made it safe and sound. We are heading to the hotel now." I told him. "Good. Be safe, Okay? I love you." He said. "I love you too. See you next week." I said then hung up. Then my phone started ringing with an unknown number. I furrowed my brows but hit answer. "Hello?" I asked. "Is this Jamie Wethers?" The lady asked. "Yes, may I ask who's calling?" I asked. "Hi, my name is Miranda and I have noticed some videos on YouTube of yours." She said. "What videos?" I asked. "To be specific, your singing videos." She said. "And I was wondering if you'd be interested in a job with us. You'd become a professional singer, go on tour and travel the world." She added. "I'm gonna have to decline that offer. I only posted those videos for the fun of it. I'm not interested in that business. I'm sorry." I said. "That's fine. I just wanted to go ahead and offer it. Have a great day, Ms Wethers." She said. "You too." I said then hung up. "Who was that?" Elias asked. "Prank call. People have warned me about it. A girl named Miranda will call and offer you a job in the singing industry but it's a scam. If you agree and go to where she tells you, you'll get mugged and be stranded." I said. "Well, I'm glad you didn't agree." He said. "Me too." I said. Then it got silent and we just listened to the radio.
It's Thursday afternoon now and I was in Lexi's room. We were getting fitted for dresses for the ceremony tomorrow. She had on a beautiful black gown that made her look stunning. "Alright you're all done, Lex. Jamie, you're next. Come on." Izzy said. I got up and walked over as Lexi went to change out of hers. Bayley was holding Gabby for me. Izzy looked at me and told me to spin, so I did. "I have the perfect one for you." She smiled, handing me a long black dress with a slit in the side. I went to the bathroom just as Lexi walked out. I took her spot and closed the door behind me, quickly putting the dress on. I couldn't wear a bra with this, cause it was backless but Izzy has something for that. I smoothed it out then walked out, going over to Izzy. "Beautiful! Now let me fix a couple things." She said, getting to work. She made it to where it fit tighter and wasn't so long. "You're tiny like Lexi, so I have to adjust the length of it. But it's okay, I've fitted her dresses for so long, I'm used to it." She giggled. I did too then she stood up straight. She had pinned it at the bottom so she knew where to sew it, then walked around me, checking every angle. "Pose for me." She said, hand on her hip. I did as she said and looked towards the door, poking my hip out slightly and resting my hand on it. "Perfect." She smiled then took a picture. "Alright, Lexi help her out and make sure my markings don't mess up." She said. Lexi got up and followed me back to the bathroom. She helped me out of it and kept the markings from moving then I quickly got dressed in my casual clothes again before following her out. She handed the dress back to Izzy and we sat back down. Gabby crawled into my lap as Bayley went over to Izzy. "Oh, wear this with your dress. It will keep your girls in check without a bra." Izzy said, handing me one of those breast enhancer material things, I don't know what they're called. I gently set it in my bag and watched as Bayley got fitted for her dress. Once everything was finished, Izzy said her goodbyes and went to get the other girls fitted. There were 4 girls that did this for every female on each roster. I was put on Izzy's list along with Lexi, Bayley, Sasha, Nia, Dana, Ember, Peyton, Billie, and Candice. After hanging out for about an hour, I grabbed Gabby and said my goodbyes to them before heading up to my shared room with Elias. I went to the elevator and pressed the up button. I waited patiently for it to get here and when it did, the doors opened. No one was in there. I walked in and pressed the 6 button, watching the doors close. I steadied my breathing and waited. The doors opened again and I quietly walked out, going down the hall to room 629. I slid my card in the reader and the light turned green, letting me push the door open. I walked in and heard rowdy boys playing video games. I set Gabby down and she ran over to where they were as I closed the door behind me. I walked over towards the noise and saw that Austin was doing his UpUpDownDown recording in here. Seth, Kofi, Big E, Elias, Tyler Breeze, Fandango and Mike were all crowded together, playing and/or watching. Elias was playing against Mike so he didn't look over at me. But Gabby had climbed into his lap as Austin explained who she was and why she was there. "Her parents bought her a fox?" Fandango asked. "Yep. And now she's a part of our big family." Austin said then noticed me. "There she is! Gabby's mommy!" He smiled. I waved with a smile before walking over and taking a seat next to Elias. "What are you guys playing?" I asked. "2k18 of course. It's almost WrestleMania!" Kofi exclaimed. "No need to shout." I teased. "I'm hype!" He laughed. I did too and looked back at the screen. "Who's who?" I asked. "Elias is playing as Undertaker and Mike is playing as Dean Ambrose." Austin told me. "Mike is playing as Dean Ambrose? That's a shocker." I teased. "I didn't want to, but he's what I landed on." Mike said. "Ha! Just admit it, you like Dean." I smirked. "Pft, as if. I'm way better than Dean." He said. "Really now?" I asked with a smirk. "Uh, yeah." He said as if it's obvious. "Who's the intercontinental champion, sweetheart?" He asked. "Not for long." I smirked. "What?!" He exclaimed. "I said it. You heard me." I smirked. Seth was laughing cause he knew. "Well who do you think is gonna win?" Mike asked. "The champ, of course. The man, the one who's gonna make you look like a fool." I smirked, turning my attention to him. "Yeah!" Seth exclaimed. "Oh shut up, no one was talking to you." Mike said to him. "Why do you think he's gonna win? He's not better than me." Mike said to me. "Says you." I scoffed. Then he groaned and I looked at the tv, seeing undertaker had won. "Yes! My man!" I cheered, high fiving Elias. He laughed and I smiled. "You made me lose!" Mike said to me. "Mike, you should know better than anyone how to ignore distractions." I smirked. "Well, when my title is being threatened, I don't ignore it." He said. "No one was threatening your title. I was just having a conversation." I smirked, my sass on full display as I flipped my hair. He scoffed and I looked at the screen. "To anyone who doesn't know this beauty, she is coming up on NXT next week. Watch her debut live on the WWE network. You won't regret it. Her name is Jamie." Austin said to the camera. "Is this live?" I asked. "Yep." He smirked. I did two thumbs up to the camera with a cheesy smile. Then I felt a hand on my head and I looked up at Elias. He smirked and leaned down, kissing my forehead. "She also seems to be dating the one, the only, guitar playing hipster, Elias!" Austin said. "Hipster?" Elias asked, looking at him. "Well, yeah. You're a hipster." Austin said like it was obvious. I was holding back laughs with my hand over my mouth. "Am I?" Elias asked, looking around. Everyone was nodding. So he looked at me. I smiled innocently and nodded along. "Well." He said, leaning back in his seat. "Did you guys know that Jamie can sing?" Seth asked. "No!" I exclaimed as they all laughed. "Sing for us!" Kofi exclaimed. "Sing what?" I asked. "Anything." He replied. I shrugged and smirked as a song came to mind. "Well a Scotsman clad in kilt, left the bar one evening fair. And one could tell by how he walked that he'd drunk more than his share. He fumbled round until he could no longer keep his feet, and he stumbled off into the grass to sleep beside the street. Ring ding diddle iddle la de oh, ring di diddly I oh. He stumbled off into the grass to sleep beside the street!" I sang. Everyone was laughing, even Mike. "I meant a real song." Kofi laughed. "That is a real song." I said. "I've never heard it." He said. And cue dramatic gasp from me. "You've never heard the Scotsman song?!" I exclaimed. He looked startled at my reaction. "No, why?" He asked. "I don't think we can be friends anymore, Kofi. You just broke my heart." I said, being my dramatic self. Elias laughed more and I fought back a smile. I got up and walked to the bed. "Did I just lose a friend?" I hears Kofi ask. "I think you did, man." Seth laughed. "She's a dramatic one, isn't she?" Austin asked. "You have no idea." Elias said. "I heard that!" I called out. I saw Elias shrink down in his seat as the guys laughed. "You just dug yourself a hole, dude." Tyler laughed, patting Elias on the shoulder. "Go fill it." Dango finished. Elias got up and started towards me. "Well, that's concludes our live video for the day, check in daily for new videos and livestreams! Bye!" Austin said. Everyone yelled bye as Big E turned the camera off. Then Kofi walked over to see me and Elias cuddled up. "Let me hear this song." He said, sitting at the foot of the bed. I laughed loudly and grabbed my phone, going to YouTube. I found the sing and clicked it before setting my phone down, letting the song play. I lip synced to it as Elias tried not to laugh but failed. Kofi was listening intently, looking like he was trying not to laugh. "Lad I don't know where ya been but I see you won first prize." I sang along. Kofi busted out laughing and I giggled. I closed out the app and locked my phone, letting Kofi enjoying his laughing. "That's hilarious." He laughed, wiping his eyes. "I've known about that song since I was 9 years old." I smiled. "How did you find that?" He asked with a big smile. "It came on the radio every Friday morning. My mom always took us to school and she let us listen to it every week. Those were the days, man. Those were the days." I smiled, reliving those memories. "Did you graduate?" He asked. "No. Bullies drove me to quit school. I did manage to receive my GED last month though. So I am high school educated. I was gonna go to college, but then I ran into Roman at the mall and now here I am." I smiled, holding my arms out. Then a song popped into my head and it wouldn't get out. "Shit, now I have to listen to it." I said to myself as I went back to YouTube. "What?" Seth asked. "She gets random songs stuck in her head and she has to listen to them or she gets irritated." Elias explained as I clicked on the video, letting the song play. And everyone groaned. Baby by Justin Bieber blasted through my phone and I smiled. I started to sing along and everyone groaned again, covering their ears. "My ears are bleeding! Stop this madness!" Mike yelled. I just sang louder and Mike rushed out of the room. I busted out laughing and cuddled more towards Elias, just letting the song play. I saw Seth was pressing his hands against his ears tightly and laughed more at him. When the song ended, everyone slowly calmed down. "Don't you ever do that to me again." Seth said, pointing his finger in my face. I reacted quickly and bit his finger, keeping it between my teeth. "Ahh! Help me!" He yelled, panicked. I let go and he jerked back. "Don't point your finger in my face. Let this be a lesson learned." I told him. "I bite." I finished with a bite, hearing my teeth clash together. He just cradled his hand to his chest with his other hand and looked appalled. I giggled at the look on his face and saw Gabby jump onto the bed, coming up and laying on Elias. "Aww, she took my spot." I pouted. He chuckled and wrapped his arm around me, pulling me into his side. "Well, thanks for letting me do my video here. I'll see you guys tomorrow." Austin said then left the room with the rest of the guys. Now it's just me, Elias and Gabby. "You excited for tomorrow?" He asked me. "I don't know how to feel. I'm gonna be all dolled up in a gorgeous dress, but I also know a lot of pictures are gonna be taken and I'm gonna be asked questions and I just don't know." I said. "You don't have to do interviews. Just let Steph know. I'm not going to. I don't like interviews." He said. I nodded and snuggled more into him. "Aren't you gonna take your heels off?" He asked. "I don't wanna move." I mumbled tiredly. He chuckled then I heard someone walk in. "Who are you and how did you get into my room?" I asked. Then Lexi came into my line of sight with her brows raised. "Really?" She asked. "Hi Lexi!" I chirped happily. She laughed and walked over. "You forgot this." She said, putting my bag down. "Thank You! Can you do me a favor before you leave?" I asked. She sighed and walked over, taking my heels off my feet. "I love how you knew exactly what I was gonna ask." I smiled. "Love you, see you tomorrow." She smiled before walking out. "Love you too!" I called to her then heard the door close. "How did she get in?" Elias asked. "She must've used the extra key in my bag." I said. "You have an extra key?" He asked. "They gave me two. I don't know." I said. "I guess they didn't know that I already had one." He said. "Must've been two different people. One of them didn't check the chart." I said. He chuckled and I slowly felt myself dozing off.
