Hunter and Stephanie gave Lexi this Monday off as well and told me to take her with me. So now we were in the airport, just getting off the plane. We got our bags and started to walk out of the building. Stephanie told me I didn't have to show up to NXT on Wednesday. She told me I just needed to try and cheer up Lexi and keep her away until they sort out stuff with Matt. So I was staying the whole week. I rented a hotel room for me and Lexi that was closer towards my parents than the airport. "So, tomorrow do you wanna go with me and nanny to pick out her truck? Or do you wanna stay in the hotel room?" I asked her as we put our stuff in the trunk of my car. She looked at me with sad eyes and it broke my heart. "I don't want to be alone." She said softly. She seemed so fragile right now. Matt broke her. She loved him so much and he broke her. "I won't let you be alone." I said, wrapping my arms around her. It was about midnight right now and we had to get to the hotel so we can sleep a little bit. Once she loosened her grip, I let her go and we got in the car. I had my GPS set up to direct me to the hotel. After about an hour of driving, we were in Gainesville. I pulled into the hotel parking lot and turned my car off, both of us getting out. We got our bags out of the trunk and I locked my car before following her inside. We went up to the receptionist and I smiled tiredly at her. "Hi. I called ahead to book a room." I said. "What's your name and how many are with you?" She asked. "My name is Jamie Wethers and I just have one other person with me." I said. "So, two?" She asked. "Yes, Ma'am." I said, nodding. "Alright, it's room 545 on the 5th floor. Here are two key cards. Have a nice night, girls." She smiled kindly. We thanked her before heading to the elevators. Once we got to our floor, I slid my card and the door opened. We quickly walked in and put our bags down before heading to one bed each. I had booked a room with two beds. So she didn't have to cuddle with me if she didn't want to. We both got into different beds and tried to go to sleep. I was unsuccessful in my attempt because I could hear her crying. I sighed softly and got up, moving over to her bed. I snuggled in next to her and wrapped my arms around her, just letting her cry in my arms. She fell asleep eventually and I did too after a while.

I woke up to someone snuggling closer to me. I looked down and saw the platinum blonde hair with pink tips and sighed, remembering what had happened. I looked at the digital clock on the night stand and saw it was 10 o clock. Lexi had to be awake. She never sleeps past 9. I looked down at her once again and saw her shoulders shaking slightly. I tightened my embrace around her and she started letting out soft sobs. "Shh, sweetie. I got you, it's okay." I said quietly. She still continued to cry and I let her. She was heart broken, who was I to tell her to stop crying. So I let her until she stopped herself. When she did, I looked at her. Her eyes were tinted red from the tears and the skin around her eyes was swollen and splotchy. Her blue eyes looked more prominent from crying and she had a frown on her lips. "Do you wanna start getting ready now or wait a while?" I asked. "I need to shower. Can I shower first?" She asked softly. "Of course. Do what you need to. I'll be waiting for when you finish." I told her. She nodded and got out of the bed, heading into the bathroom. I heard the shower start and grabbed my phone. I called nanny first. "Hello?" She said. "Hey nanny! Happy birthday!" I said. "Thank you, baby." She said. "Lexi is gonna be joining us today. We found out last week that her fiance was cheating on her and Stephanie told me to bring her with me down here. Just to get her away from all the drama up there while they figure everything out with her ex." I told her. "He cheated on her? Why?" She asked. "Cause he's a stupid idiot and didn't know what he had. Now he's lost her and he's most likely losing his job. He was only there because he was gonna marry her and she's so popular. He's not even that great." I said. "He was a wrestler too?" She asked. "Yeah, but like I said. He's not even that good. He's been in developmental for like three years and hasn't improved enough to be brought up. So he's probably getting let go." I said. "Good. He doesn't need to be around her at all." She said. "That's what I said. Once he gets released, he's being sent back to Australia. So he's gonna be far away from her." I said. "But she just got in the shower and I still need to shower. We will be down there in probably two hours." I said. "Alright. I'll get ready soon. Just call me when you're heading this way. I love you." She said. "I love you too, see you soon." I said then hung up. I then called my mom, even though she was at work. "Hello?" She said. "Hey, mama. What's up?" I asked. "At work. What's up with you?" She asked. "I woke up to Lexi crying again. I swear, I hate that man. He broke her heart and I hate seeing her like this." I said. "That poor baby. I hate that she's going through this." She said. "I hate it too. But all I can do is be there for her." I said. "That's true." She said. "Alright. I'll see you later today. I love you. Have fun at work." I said. "I'll try. I love you too." She said. I hung up and put my phone back down as I heard the water cut off. I threw the blankets off my body and stood up, going over to my bag. After a moment, Lexi came out in a towel and walked over to her bag. I grabbed my set of clothes and walked into the bathroom, leaving the door open so she could finish getting ready. I stripped down after setting my clothes on the counter and hopped in the shower, letting the hot water relax my tense muscles. I quickly did my shower routine, shaving all the parts that needed shaving then got out, wrapping the towel around my body. By the time I was done, Lexi was done with the bathroom. So I closed the door and put my underwear on before putting lotion all over my body. I then put my clothes on and fixed my makeup and hair before brushing my teeth. Once I finished that, I applied my lipstick and checked my reflection in the mirror.

Once I was sure I was ready, I walked out of the bathroom, turning the light off on my way. I noticed Lexi was sitting on the bed, staring down at her phone. "What are you doing?" I asked curiously. "Texting Nia." She said softly. I sat down next to her and she rested her head on my shoulder. "She said she wishes she could be here with us, but being the champ means she has to be there." She said quietly. "Well, I'm here. And tomorrow, we could have a girls day. Go shopping, get a mani/pedi, go watch a movie in the cinema, eat some good food. Just hang out." I said. She lifted her head and gave me a smile. "I'd like that." She said. "Good, it's a date." I smiled. "Date?" She asked. "Me and Anna used to have 'best friend dates' all the time. When she had Chandler, those dates were put on hold. And now I'm traveling too much to be able to do it." I said. "See if she can get a baby sitter and she can come with us. She's cute, I like her." She said with a smile. I giggled softly and nodded. "I'll call her while nanny is looking at the trucks." I said. She nodded and looked back at her phone when Nia texted saying she had to go and to have fun. Lexi texted back her goodbye before we both stood up. I put my phone in my bag then put it on my back before following Lexi out the door. We got down to the lobby and out to the car before I heard my phone ringing. I grabbed it from my bag and hit answer as I started the car. "Hello?" I said. "Hey baby." Elias said, making me smile. "Hey, what's up?" I asked, backing out of the parking lot. "Nothing much, just finished my first workout of today. Gonna get to another set soon. I just wanted to call and see what you and Lexi were doing." He said. "We just got in the car and now we are heading to nannys house." I said, pulling onto the highway. "Oh. I miss you." He said. I giggled softly and and he chuckled. "I miss you too. But I'll see you soon." I said. "Yeah, I'll be heading up that way tomorrow night. And I'm bringing Mella so that she can help you cheer up Lexi." He said. "Yay! I miss her." I smiled. I saw Lexi look at me from the corner of my eye. "She misses you too. Both of you." He said. "Babe I gotta go. Before I lose my will to do this." He said. "Alright. I love you, bye." I said. "I love you. Bye." He said then hung up. "Can you call nanny and tell her we are heading that way?" I asked Lexi, handing her my phone. She grabbed it and did as I said. "Hey, Nanny. We are heading that way now. Are you ready?" She asked. I heard my nanny reply, but I couldn't register what she said. "Alright. We should be there in about 10 minutes." She asked. "Okay, see you guys in a few." She said then hung up. She set my phone down in the cup holder and I turned the radio up. Slow hands by Niall Horan came on and she turned it up louder, singing along with it. I laughed and joined her, both of us singing loudly with the windows down. By the time we reached Nannys house, we were both laughing. I parked and turned the car off, getting out. Lexi followed suit and we walked up the porch. I opened the door and we walked in, being greeted by the dogs first. "Hi Bella!" I cooed, getting down to give her love while Lexi gave Demon kisses. Despite his name, he's a really sweet dog. My uncle named him before he got sent to jail. So that's really the only reason his name is Demon. Once we got done loving on the dogs, we sat down on the couch. "Hey girls." Nanny smiled as she walked in from her room. "Hey nanny!" We said together, getting up to hug her and wish her a happy birthday. "Let's go." She smiled. We all got up and walked out the door. Nanny locked it behind us and we headed back over to my car. "Where do you wanna go first? Dodge, Chevrolet, Ford?" I asked her once we were settle in the car. "Chevrolet." She said. I nodded and started up the car before heading out.
