We were now on a different Dodge car lot and luckily, they had the same car. Now I was being helped by a very nice woman. "So, you liked the test drive?" She asked me as we got out of the car. "Yes I did. It drives so smoothly." I smiled at her, closing the door. "Are you saying yes to the car?" She smirked. I giggled and nodded. "Yes." I said. "Did I miss something?" Elias asked. "She quoted 'Say Yes To The Dress'. It's a tv show about girls finding wedding dresses or prom dresses. You wouldn't get it. You're a guy." I said, waving my hand at him dismissively. Hunter let out a loud laugh as Elias' reaction. I smirked and looked back at Linda. "We can go inside and get the papers signed, then she will be all yours." She smiled. I nodded and we all followed her inside. Once everything was signed and paid for, she smiled bigger. "Here are the papers and your keys. Enjoy your new car, Jamie." She said, handing me all that I needed. "Thank you." I smiled big. "No problem. You guys have a nice day." She said, shaking our hands. We walked out of the building and I stopped to admire my car. Mine. It's all mine.

Then I remembered what my dad has said multiple times. 'If we ever win the lottery, I'm gonna have a truck made to look just like the one I had to get rid of.' And I turned around, seeing Linda had followed us out. "I have one more question." I said. "What's that?" She asked with a smile. "How much would a 2002 two toned Dodge Ram truck cost?" I asked. "To make payments or fully pay it off?" She asked. "Both. I wanna see the options." I said. "To make payments every month, it would cost about 20 thousand and about 300 every month. To fully pay it off would be 245 thousand." She said. "And how much extra would it cost to have it painted two certain colors?" I asked. I could feel the confused stared from Hunter and Elias. "About 500 dollars extra." She said. I then quickly logged into my mobile bank account and saw that since I got paid last night, I have 900 thousand in my account. I then pulled up the pictures I have of my dad's old truck and showed it to her. "My dad's 50th birthday is in June and he used to own this truck. He had to get rid of it because he couldn't afford to keep paying for it, and I wanna get it for him. Fully paid off so he doesn't have to pay for anything except gas. He always says how he wants it back, but someone else already bought it. And I'm thinking this would be one hell of a birthday present." I smiled. "Yeah, we can totally do this. Do you want to go ahead and make the payments? We can have it done before his birthday and have you pick it up." She said. "Yes. Hunter, I got this one. I have enough." I smiled, looking back at this. "That's gonna take all your money, isn't it?" He asked. "No. I have enough." I smiled. "Alright. We'll be out here." He smiled. I nodded and walked back inside with Linda. "Can I get you to email me those photos for reference?" She asked. "Yes, I can. What's your email?" I asked. She told me and I typed in the information and pictures then hit send. Her computer made a noise and she opened the file. "Got it. Now in total, the price will be 300 thousand and I can email you when we have it finished. What is the day of your father's birthday?" She asked. "June 18th." I said. She nodded and typed on her keyboard for a moment. "Cash, card or check?" She asked. "Card." I said. She nodded and slid the machine over. "Go ahead and slide your card." She said. I slid it then typed in my pin and signed my named. Once it approved the transaction, the receipt printed and she handed it to me. "I'll let you know whenever it's ready, love. Have a nice day." She smiled. "Thank you. You too." I smiled back before grabbing my bag and keys. I exited the building and walked back over to my car. I noticed that Elias was putting our stuff in the trunk of my car and smiled. "Everything settled?" He asked once he noticed me walking over. "Yep. I'm about to get the title of favorite child." I smirked. They both laughed and I smiled bigger. "Are we ready?" Hunter asked. "I believe we are." Elias said then looked at me. I was just staring at the keys in my hand with a dazed smile. "Babe?" I heard. My head snapped up and I looked at Elias. "Yes?" I asked. He chuckled and shook his head, making me smile. "Are you ready?" He asked. "Yes, I am. I'll just follow you to the hotel then?" I asked Hunter. He nodded and went back over to his car. Me and Elias got in mine and I started it up after putting the papers in the dashboard. I pulled out of the spot and drove over to Hunter's car. He pulled out and I followed him. "You said you were tired, right?" I asked Elias. "A little bit." He said softly. "Go to sleep. I'll wake you when we get there." I said, giving him a smile before looking back at the road. He smiled back and nodded, getting into a comfortable position. After a few minutes, I heard his soft snores and smiled, turning the music down a bit.
