the roommate

*six days later*

(A) i had finally made my decision to find a roommate to share my new apartment with. Kenzie came over with a suitcase to stay the night; because she wanted to meet the girl and make sure she's "good enough for me". The girl should be coming in a few hours. I haven't gotten an exact name yet but by the look of the profile she kinda looks like a baddie. Ya know with motorcycles and stuff. Anyways..

A: hey kenzie..
K: yes?
A: I'm gonna murder you.
K: you don't want blood on your brand new carpets annie; why?
A: you ate the last ding dong and you didn't even throw out the box.
K: oopsies. *laughs*
A: caleb did the same exact thing!
K: shocked* wow annie.
A: what are you going wow about?
K: me as your best friend; that is the first time I've heard you talk about your family so openly without crying.
A: well not really. I used to talk about mom and Hayley with aunt rida when I lived with her.
*doorbell*
K: she better be good to you.
A: we'll see. *opens the door*

(K) I stand behind annie as she opens the door and my mouth falls to the floor. holy sh*t..

(A) this girl is a dude! A hot dude. Oh annie stop it!

A: um hi are you Hayden?
H: takes his helmet off* yea you must be julianna.
A: annie. 
H: I just came to check out the room you are renting.
K: smirks at annie*
A: hits her*
A: yea go on ahead. I just kinda assumed you were a..
H: girl?
A: nervous* yea oops.
H: well I'm cool with living with a girl. Would you be okay with this?
A: pff yea totally.
H: laughs*

(A) me and kenzie lead him upstairs as he scopes out the place. kenzie gives him an unnecessary tour. she doesn't understand that this is only the first person and he may not even like the place. I open the door to the guest room and he looks at the bathroom and the master bed passing the beautiful view of the city.

H: this place is sick.
A: you take all the time you need to think-
H: I'll take it.
K: I told you annie!
A: laughs* your not even gonna ask questions?
H: okay fine umm is it noisy here?
A: nope.
H: air conditioning work good?
A: yes. Really good.
H: and it's the same price we discussed over the phone?
A: yes.
H: okay and one last question..
K: smiles*
H: do you have a boyfriend?
A: ok that's a little more personal; but no.
H: okay thank godd! The friend i was living with had a boyfriend and they kept me up all night so I left!
A: you still talk to her?
H: oh no it wasn't a girl. he was gay.
K: ohhh that makes sense.
A: anyways what do you say? Like what you see?
H: oh yea I love what I see. and the apartment.
A: cheeks redden*

(K) they finish some paperwork and blah blah blah. and then annie walks him to the door.

H: I'll have my stuff over here in a couple days. I won't be much of a bother. nice to meet you girls.
K: nice to meet you too.

(A) after hayden left kenzie started hounding me.

A: what?
K: he was sooo flirting with you.
A: I already know what kind of guy he is so I'm not letting that get to me.
K: what kind of a guy is he? He seemed nice.
A: oh yea kenz until they get in your pants.
K: he didn't give me that vibe anns.
A: he has a motorcycle.
K: so does ken and barbie!
A: yea and their hoes too.
K: annie I think he's great.
A: and I'm not saying he's not, but you better not hound me saying he likes me or vise versa.
K: I won't. promise.
A: mhm sure.
K: laughs* anyways. Let's watch some Riverdale and sleep like mature adults A: it's better than going to parties; getting drunk and sleeping with the first guy you see.
K: which almost happened on riverdale!
A: laughs*
