If you've ever been in love, then you must also know how it feels to have your heart crushed.
It makes you feel sick inside and out, makes you cry, makes you want to just die so you don't have to deal with the pain of knowing that the one person that you truly love will never be yours.
That's exactly how I felt when Tamaki told me that he and Haruhi were together. Of course, I hid it well, but as soon as I was alone, I completely lost it.

Kyoya swallowed hard and stared at the blonde who stood in front of him. It was time, time to tell Tamaki how he felt. But Tamaki had something to say, too. Something that he could barely hold in.
"You first." Kyoya said, crossing his arms over his chest. "Well, okay! Haruhi and I are together now!" Tamaki grinned.
Time must have stopped. Kyoya stared down at him, blinking back tears. His heart felt like it had been torn out and ripped to a million pieces. He felt sick, and he thought he would throw up.
But no; He just smiled. "Good for you, Tamaki." He quickly turned on his heel. "I'll be back later. I just remembered I have something to do."
"But Kyoya --" Tamaki reached out to grab his wrist, but he was already gone.
"Damn it, damn it, damn it!" Kyoya stood in front of the bathroom mirror, hanging his head. He pounded his fist into the counter, trying to force his sadness away and have it be replaced by anger. But he just couldn't.
His tears streamed down his cheeks, and he leaned against the wall, slowly sinking down to the floor. He hid his face in his knees, trying to muffle his cries.
"Kyoya-senpai?" Haruhi opened the bathroom door, stepping inside. She saw him on the floor, and immediately closed the door, knowing that Kyoya wouldn't want anyone else to find him crying. "What's the matter?" She asked, sitting next to him on the floor.
"It's nothing..." Kyoya lied, not looking into her eyes. "It's something. Tell me, I won't judge you..." Haruhi rubbed his back. She had never seen Kyoya like this; he was always so calm and collected... Now he was just a mess.
"Alright, fine..." Kyoya sighed. "I was going to tell Tamaki that I... That I..." He couldn't spit the words out. Here he was, talking to Tamaki's girlfriend about how he wanted to be with him. Or at least trying to.
"That I like him... And I mean, as more than friends." Kyoya sighed. "Oh..." Haruhi stared at him for a moment. "So you're gay...?" She asked. Kyoya nodded slowly, looking down. He felt ashamed. "I could tell him, if you want me to..." Haruhi smiled. "But I thought you two were together..." Kyoya looked back up at her, slightly confused.
"What? No!"
"Well then Tamaki lied..."
"What are you talking about...?"
"Earlier... Tamaki told me that you two were together... That's why I'm in here."
"Oh! No, Kyoya, we aren't, like, boyfriend and girlfriend."
"Then what did he mean?"
"You didn't let him finish. We're just studying together."Kyoya stared at her with a look that said: Are you kidding me?
Haruhi laughed nervously. "Sorry about that..." She stood and offered Kyoya her hand. "Come on."
Later, in the Host Club...
"...so it was just a BIG misunderstanding." Haruhi finished. "Wait, so... Kyoya is in love with me...?" Tamaki asked, looking to the raven as he smiled and entertained guests. Tamaki smiled, as well. "Wow... I guess our feelings are the same."
"...and I have this one for sale, as well, ladies." Kyoya showed the girls another magazine, and opened his mouth to say something else, but he was interrupted by a sudden kiss on the lips... from Tamaki.
The girls squealed, watching as Kyoya dropped the magazines and wrapped his arms around Tamaki's waist, kissing him deeply. "Mm... Tamaki...?" Kyoya spoke against his lips. "Yeah...?" Tamaki responded.
"I love you..."
"I love you too, Kyoya."<3
