"You're a wizard 'Arry." I heard for the thousandth time. I rolled my eyes and sighed in irritation as I scrubbed the kitchen floor. Wisps of my strawberry blonde hair framed my face as I huntched down and attempted to make the floor shine. In the living room there was a crash and a scream, most likely from Layn.

Scrambling into the livingroom, I felt my shirt tearing. As I entered my wings unfolded to their full size. Layn was pressed against the wall to my right, in the middle of the room stood a boy and an older woman. Layn was still screaming as if satan himself had appeared.

Both the woman and boy had wings portuding from their backs, the boy with short spiky black and bloodred wings. The woman on the other hand had large wings rising well above her head and colored with a deep velvety blue and a white as bright as fresh snow. Her dark gray eyes studied my face and wings before she spoke.

"Come with us, Juniper. We can protect you."
