PROLOGUE:
She Will Be Loved
*JAKE'S POV* •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••"He was always there to help her she always belonged to someone else." ~ Maroon 5 •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
If I had to describe everything I ever wanted, something I couldn't live with out, the most beautiful thing I've ever seen, and perhaps the one and only thing I'd want with me on a stranded island, I'd give you two words: Allison Carter.Inseparable. The only word to describe how Allie and I are. We do pretty much everything together.
We met when we were three and were really close until fourth grade. We didn't talk that much again until seventh grade. When my mom died.
Allie had stood up for me after years of not talking and I realized I had made a mistake. From that moment on I knew I NEEDED her back in my life.
I have loved Allison Rose Carter since I was six years old. Eleven years. Even when we weren't close I still wanted to be around her, but I couldn't, or at least that's what I thought.
She is the most incredible person in this world, as far as I am concerned.
She's amazing. It's like there's an infinite amount of talent in just one single body. She's athletic, smart, funny, she can pick up any instrument and play it with no trouble, listen to a song once and be able to translate it without missing a single beat, and can write incredible songs.
She has dedication to everything she does.
She almost always has that beautiful smile on her face. She can lighten up any situation. It's like a superpower.
Not everyone knows her, but everyone knows of her. She's known to intimidate people and she cusses like a sailor and only converses through extreme sarcasm.
She's a very independent person, but she still loves being around people.
She's the type of person who'd die for what she believes in. Without a doubt Allie will stand up for herself and the people who matter to her, especially me.
I didn't know I needed her, but eventually I found that I did. When I drove a dagger into her heart I thought it was the best thing for her, even though it was the worst for me. That's my biggest regret.
I still watched from a distance, kept tabs on her. NO, I was not stalking her, I swear. I had her back, even when she didn't know I was there for her, I was. I still loved her and to this day I do.
No matter what.
