Jude's Bay, Maine is a fictitious town. However Brooklin, Maine is indeed a real town in Hancock County, Maine. I encourage visiting Brooklin as it is rich with history and is a beautiful town.
Because Jude's Bay is a fictitious town which is located near a town(Brooklin) populated by approximately 1300 people many common businesses (Starbucks, Walmart, etc.) are not included in a large portion of this story. When they are, all rights and credit go to them.
