Ragna story: Oh my Sister

Loss

Maya's POV:
I feared this was going to be the reality.
"Why are you asking me about this?"
I don't know if I should answer that question and if I do, what would be my response.
"Do you know where I can find her?"
Another question - I'm still silent.
"You know where she is, right?"
Sammy asks again pleading with his eyes glittering still full of regret.

How do I tell him that the lady he raped is the one lady who clearly has taken over Raghav's mind.
"Answer me Maya"
"I know her".
Was all I could come up with at that moment.
" Who is she?"
"We'll talk about it tomorrow with Raghav. Good night"
I say in a hurry as I leave the room.

Raghav's POV:
The sun is shining brightly today through my window and I'm so sick of it.
I really don't want to get up from bed.
This is the greatest day - there's a knock on the door.
"Come in"
I say annoyed.
It's my mom.
"Raghav dear, get up"
I groan.
I know I act immature sometimes with my mom but everyone does that anyways so - don't judge.
"Don't be stubborn Raghav. You know what today is"
The last statement made me get up.
I was so busy I completely forgot about what day it was today.
It's my Dad's memorial.
I saw the look on my mom's face. She tried to keep it cool but still she just had to break down and I comforted her - she really needed it now.
I comfort my mom but who comforts me.

I guess one reason for me forgetting what today was, was that my mom didn't lock herself in the room like the past 6 years.
Roma isn't here yet but I'm sure she didn't forget this day like I did.
I feel a hand rests on my shoulder.
It's Maya.
"Are you OK?"
She asks softly. I nod.
"My Dad always had a favorite statement. Do you remember it?"
I ask now directing my attention towards her.
"No worries"
She says with a smile.
I chuckle a little then sight Kalpi running towards us with a white little dress which sways left and right as she hops.
"Hey"
She says with a sad smile.
She's quiet..which is weird, she always has something to say.
"Sorry"
I hate that word but it means a lot to me coming from her her. Maya looks stunned seeing that I didn't get mad
"Thank you"
I say in reply.
Maya leaves.
There is silence between I and Kalpi.
"You loved your Dad?"
She asks breaking the silence.
"Yes, a lot"
I say in reply.
"I love my Dad and my Mom. We are a very very happy family"
She says with a smile getting her speech back.
"Raghav"
I turn and so does Kalpana
Her eyes meet Sammy's.
I haven't introduced them yet.
"Kalpi, this is-"
Before I could finish. Kalpi starts screaming
"Take him away!
Take him away from me!"
She yells while pointing towards Sammy's direction.
That's when it hits me
