Ragna story: Oh my Sister

The Silver Lining

Kalpi's POV:
"Kalpi dear, come sit"
My mommy says with a broad smile gesturing me to a seat beside her.
I sit next to her.
"Hey Kalpi"
I turn to look at Viki then glares at him and look at my food.
"bad Viki. Not my Viki"
I say.
"What?" He asks.
"Kalpi dear, is everything OK?"
"No mommy, Viki beat my friend yesterday"
I say then begin to pout.
"I'm sorry Kalpi?" Viki says. I don't believe him.
"Please forgive me" he says with his hands at his ears squeezing them as tight as possible. He could really get hurt.
"Stop stop I forgive you"
"Really?" He asks with a smile.
I nod.
"As long you take me to see my friend today"
"You want to go see Raghav"
I nod again to his statement rather than a question which it's supposed to be.
"Fine then"
He says.
"Let's eat I'm hungry"
Pakiya says,he always loved food.

Viki's POV:
Being at Raghav's house is so strange. The place is quiet and Kalpi is just looking around.
At least I'll see Roma here. Her Aunt is great at hosting.
Kalpi looks so comfortable. I hope she goes back home with me.
"Kalpi dear?"
"Yes Aunty"
She replies with a smile. It's good that she stills remember her manners.
"Raghav is upstairs. You can go see him"
"Raghav..is that my friend's name?" Kalpi asks with cute curiosity in her eyes.
"Yes"
Aunt Gauri says with a smile and nods.
Kalpi stands and hops all the way up the stairs. I didn't known that was possible until now.
"So you and Roma"
Aunt says directing my attention back to her.
I guess this is the time when I meet the parents or in this case, the Aunty.
"Yeah, we are having a really strong bond and getting to know each other better"
"That's nice. Are you ready to get married to her?"
I look into eyes eyes and find out that she truly means what she just said. Getting married to Roma is gonna be the greatest achievement I have ever made.
"Yes, I am"
Aunt smiles at me and I smile back.
Things seem to be turning out for the better.

Raghav's POV:
It was so hard to get to sleep last night. I'm just here sitting at my desk in boredom trying to do some work but I can't focus.
Why is it dark? Someone's hand is over my eyes.
It smells like Kalpi.
Suddenly my day is brightened up
I hold her hands.
"Hi"
She says with that wonderful smile😊
I just can't help but smile back at her.
"What're you doing here?"
I ask her still with that smile.
"I missed you"
Did she just say she missed me? no I shouldn't get carried away because this Kalpana is only temporary just like my happiness after my father's death. Always temporary.
"Your mom is nice"
She says directing my attention back to her.

It seems like things are turning out for the better.
