|Chapter 1: Their arrival at Domino High|

GLACIER

Natutulog pa sana ako ng mahimbing kung hindi lang umingay ang alarm ko sa cellphone. Kinuha ko ang phone ko sa gilid ko at agad pinatay ang alarm. Naiingayan ako at ayaw ko ng ingay kapag kakagising ko palang.

Since it is already six, I decided to take a bath. Ngayong araw kasi ang pagtatransfer namin dun sa Domino High. I don't know why schools usually have very weird names. I find myself curious about it. Well, let's blame the owners for it.

After bathing quickly, I head directly to the closet. As I opened it, bumungad sa akin ang apat na set of uniforms. Five days after he gave us our mission, these sets of uniforms were suddenly delivered to us. We were given four sets of uniforms each. So in total, he bought us twenty sets. Wow...grabe. Ang dami. I heard na mamahalin daw ang uniform ng DH kaya gulat ako nang binigay ito sa amin.

Ganyan kasi ang boss namin. In every mission, he always provides us the things needed for the missions. So I am really thankful that he is my boss. What lucky gangsters we are.

Pagkatapos ko magsuot ng uniform, kinuha ko ang tatlong pinakaimportanteng bagay sa aking kaligtasan; my pair of glasses, a cap, and a black mask. Sinuot ko ang mga iyon saka humarap sa salamin. My eyes were almost covered by the cap completely. My chocolate brown eyes were the only things left that can be seen by others, while the rest of my face is covered completely.

There are a lot of reasons why I wear these, but I do have one main reason. And that reason is a secret not yet to be known.

Malamang hindi ko sasabihin, secret nga e. Hahaha.

There are really times na medyo slow ako. Whatever. Natural naman yan e.

Pagkatapos ko magbihis, bumaba na ako ng hagdan. I strode to the kitchen with my bag slung on my shoulders. Nadatnan ko silang tatlo kumakain ng bacon, eggs, at rice. Lumapit ako saka bumati sa kanila, "Good morning, girls."

"Good morning. :)" -Mist

"Good morrow, your majesty!" -Athens

"Morning." -Taznea

Binati nila ako pabalik. Binigyan ko sila ng simple smile, kahit alam ko na hindi nila iyon makikita dahil sa mask ko. Umupo ako sa tabi nila. Tinanggal ko ang mask ko saka kumain.

"Glace..." napalingon ako kay Taz.

"Why won't you leave that mask here? You know...just for once in your life? Don't you have a hard time breathing while wearing it?" Sunod sunod niyang tanong. I shook my head slowly.

"No. If I do, you know what will happen." I replied with a weak voice.

For a moment, silence surrounded the whole dining room. I never liked talking about this. The thought of him finding me really scares me. I am afraid of going back.

Nabasag ang katahimikang nabuo dito sa silid nang magtanong si Mist.

"Teka. Nasan si Hikari?" She asked, changing the topic.

I thank her for not being insensitive. I gave her a thankful smile and she smiled back.

Sa tanong ni Mist sumagot si Athens, "Tulog pa...ang bruha. Ayaw kasi... gumising e."

Napalingon sa kanya si Taznea. Then Taz gave her a disgusted look. "Athens, don't talk when you're mouth is still full. You might choke." She warned. Athens nods her head while she says, "Yah...Fine...Whatevz..."
