After a couple days on the boat, everyone is tense and ready to see what dorms they will be put in. I walk to the front of the boat and sees Jaden there. "What's up Jaden? You ready for school?" I ask. "Yea, I'm ready to get my game on. I'll duel anyone anytime anywhere." He says. "Well than. I guess i'll be your first opponent on the island. I challenge you Jaden." I say with a grin. "I accept. I'll be looking forward to it." He says waving bye with two fingers.
We arrive a couple hours later. We all get to the auditorium and get in the seats. Dr. Crowler comes in front of the podium. "Welcome all duelists who got here with the excellent talent and some who got here entirely on luck." He says as he looked at Jaden. "Tonight at dinner everyone will get a letter telling what dorm y'all will be put in as determined by the duel you had in the ceremony." After that i zoned out seeing Alexis Rhodes talking to her friends. She looks at me and we smile at each other.
At lunch I get the letter that I'm in Obelisk Blue. I knew of course I would be. Alexis and Zane are already in Obelisk Blue. Jaden looks happy even though he was put in Slifer Red. We all eat lunch and Jaden and me head over to his dorm. "Well, Jaden. It looks like it's time for our duel." "Takeshi, lets get our game on." He says putting his deck in the duel disk and turns it on. I do the same.
We draw our first hand. "You first Jaden." I say looking at my hand. I have La Jinn the Magical Spirit of the Lamp, Crush Card Virus, Blade Warrior, Shrink Card and one Blue Eyes White Dragon. "Ok Takeshi, I draw." He draws card. "I play Elemental Hero Clayman in defense mode. I throw down two face downs and end my turn."
"It's my turn. I draw." I look and draw another Blue Eyes. He probably thinks i wanna summon my Ultimate Dragon but i have another plan. "I lay down two cards face down. I play La Ginn attack mode and end my turn."
He draws his next card. He reveals Polymerization. "I fuse Clayman and my Elemental Hero Sparkman to fuse Elemental Hero Thunder Giant. I'll use his effect. By discarding one monster card, if it's the same attack or stronger you can destroy one monster on your opponents side of the field. Wait, I dont have one. Nevermind, I'll just use Thunder Giant to Attack your La Jinn."
"I'll play my shrink card on my Genie." "Why on your genie? Your gonna lose 1500 life points." Jaden asks confused. "Ill reveal my other face down card, Crush Card Virus. It can only activate with a monster with 1000 attack points or less. Now that my monster is destroyed with my virus inside of it and you destroyed it, the card activates and destroys all you monsters including your fusion monsters with 1500 attack or more."
Jaden looks at his duel disk and sees all his powerful monsters not able to use in the
duel. "This doesn't look good. I guess I'll have to end my turn." "My turn. I draw." I draw my Spear Dragon. "I'll summon my Spear Dragon in attack mode. Spear dragon, attack Jaden's life points directly." Spear dragon goes to attack. "I reveal my face down card, The Flute of Summoning Kuriboh. What this does is let me bring out a Kuriboh monster including my pal Winged Kuriboh. Once he's destroyed, I take no battle damage." he says as Imy Spear Dragon goes into defense mode. He draws. "I summon Elemental Hero Bubbleman in attack mode. His special effect is that if he's the only monster on the field I can draw 2 extra cards." He draws two more cards. "Now I play Bubble Blaster which my Bubbleman a whopping extra 800 attack points. Bubbleman attack his Spear Dragon." It destroys my monster. "I'll throw one card down and end my turn" I draw another Blue Eyes White Dragon. "I'll summon my Blade Knight in attack mode. now Blade Knight attack his Bubbleman." Since you attacked Bubbleman, only his Bubble Blaster gets destroyed and i take no damage to my life points." "I end my turn." (Next turn I'll finish this. I say to myself) Jaden draws. "I'll play Elemental Hero Burstinatrix in defense mode as well as my Bubbleman and call it a turn." I draw. "I'll play my Pot of Greed which allows me to draw two more cards from my deck." I draw Polymerization and Graceful Charity. "Now I'll play my Graceful Charity card. It allows me to draw three cards as long as I discard two to the Graveyard." I draw Monster Reborn, Mystical Space Typhoon and Fairy Meteor Crush. "I'll discard two Blue Eyes to the Graveyard." "What, no way. Why are you discarding your dragons for?" Jaden asks shocked. "Wanna know why. Here is your answer. I play Monster Reborn to bring back one Blue Eyes in attack mode. Next I'll play my Mystical Space Typhoon and destroy your face down card." It was Negate Attack. "Now I'll play Fairy Meteor Crush and equip to my dragon. It's effect is that when my monster attacks a monster in defense mode, their life points decrease between the attacking monster from the defense's monster. Now attack his Burstinatrix."It gets destroyed. A bell rings. "Takeshi, that's the school bell for us to be back in our dorms. I look and realise it's night time. "We will continue this another day and next time no interruptions." I say as we shake hands. "Til next time." Jaden yells running to his dorm. (He's gonna be one heck of a duelist.) I think to myself. (Not as good as me.) I say walking into my dorm.
