The next day I get up and get ready for my first at the Academy. I put on my Obelisk Blue Uniform and head to class. When I arrive, I see that Jaden is in my class too and apparently asleep as well. The other classmates I remember from the entrance exam is Alexis Rhodes, Chazz Princeton and Bastion, can't remember his last name. I sit down next to Alexis. "Morning Alexis, do you know who our teacher is gonna be?" I ask. "Dr. Crowler. I believe."She says as Dr. Crowler enters the room. After class we go eat lunch. I sit with Jaden and two other people. "Hey Takeshi. This Cyrus and Chumley. They are my roommates." He says as he takes a big bite of food. I say hey and eat lunch. While we are are eating, someone comes and faces me. "You're the duelist with the Blue Eyes White Dragons in his deck right." "Yeah, I am. What about it?" I ask. "Well my name is Jackson and I challenge you to a duel in front of the whole school, unless you're afraid too." He says with a snicker. "Ha, bring it on. You have no idea who you're messing with." I say as he walks away. "This guy must have some grudge against you or something." Jaden says. "Well it's not the first person and probably won't be the last." I say. I arrive in the Auditorium and the whole school is packed in their seats. I see Jaden and them behind the spot where I'm gonna be standing. Jackson is already standing waiting on me. "It's about time you get here. I was beginning to think you wasn't gonna show." "Nah, just going on a strategy to beat you quick. I don't have time for brats like you." I said about ot put my cards in my duel disk. "Takeshi" I hear my name from someone behind me. I look and it's my dad Seto Kaiba. "Dad, what are you doing here?" I ask looking surprised. Everyone gasps especially Chancellor Sheppard and Dr. Crowler. "I came to watch how good of a duelist you really are. Now prove it to me without using the Blue Eyes White Dragons. If you can win without them, you can keep my deck. If not, I will take it back." He says as he stands behind me with his arms cross. "No problem. I can do this." I say as I throw the three Blue Eyes to my dad. "Well Takeshi. Looks like it's gonna be an easier duel than I thought. You might as well turn back and spare the humiliation in front of your dad." He says as he put his cards in his duel disk. I do the same. "Oh you have no idea what strategy I have planned and no one not even my dad will either." We both say game on. I draw and my hand is Y Dragon Head, Z Metal Tank, Mystical Space Typhoon, Ring Of Destruction and Ring of Defense. He starts. "I"ll two cards face down and play my Marauding Captain in attack mode. His special effect is that I can summon another Warrior type monster as long as it's four stars or lower. So, I summon Gearfried the Iron Knight in attack mode. That ends my turn." "My turn. I draw." I draw X Head Cannon. "First, I"ll play my Mystical Space Typhoon an destroy the card on right." It destroys Negate Attack. "Now, I'll Attack Marauding Captain with my X Head Cannon." He loses 600 life points, dropping him to 3400. "I'll lay two cards face down and end my turn." "My draw. Now I'll sacrifice my Gearfried for The Fiend Megacyber. Now, my Fiend, destroy his X Head Cannon." "You activated my trap card. Ring of Destruction. Now normally we both would lose the monster's attack points to our life points but mine are safe with this spell card. Ring of Defense." He loses 2200 life points bringing him to 1200. "My turn. I draw and play the spell card, Pot of Greed which allows me to draw to more cards from my deck." I draw Frontline Base and the card that will surprise everyone even my dad. I look at him and smile at him. "I play Z Metal Tank in attack mode. Next I"ll play Frontline Base which allows me to play another monster as long as it's a level four or lower Union monster, and next I'll special summon Y Dragon Head. Now i'll fuse them all to bring forth the all powerful XYZ Dragon Cannon." "Let me stop right there. I play the trap Bottomless Trap Hole. Now that your summoned monster is 1500 attack points or more, it gets removed from play." My monster is remove from play and now i have no monsters or any face down cards. "Now I'll play Axe Raider in attack mode." I realize that these cards look like from Joey Wheeler's deck. "Stop, timeout. Now I Know why you have a bone to pick with me. You're Joey Wheeler's kid, aren't you?" "Yea, that's why i'm getting my revenge on you. Now, Axe Raider, attack him directly." I lose 1700 life points to drop me to 2300 life points. "Maybe, you're not meant not have my deck." Seto Kaiba says to me. "Dad, stay out of this. I'm winning this turn." I say as I draw my card. "I'll play my Return from of a Different Dimension card that brings back all my monsters removed from play by sacrificing half of my life points." I drop to 1150 life points. "Now my X Head Cannon, Y Dragon Head and my Z Metal Tank all come back in attack mode." "Why bring those monsters back when they aren't as strong as my Megacyber." "Why else, other than to sacrifice them. I sacrifice all 3 monsters for my Egyptian God Card, Obelisk The Tormentor." I say as i slam the card onto my duel disk. The whole crowd gasps from seeing the actual Egyptian God played in the coliseum. Jackson stares in horror for what is to come. "Now see everyone, for I am worthy to possess one of the Egyptian Gods as well as my dad was. Now Jackson, meet Obelisk, Obelisk destroy Jackson with Fist of Fate." Obelisk attacks his Megacyber and he falls backward and is unconscious. Everyone is quiet. Chancellor Sheppard runs over to me. "How did you get your hands on that Egyptian God card? I thought those were no longer in this world?" He says shakily. "Well two months ago I heard a rumor that Pegasus was re making the God cards back into existence. Dad I know how much you hate that guy but I had to see for myself. When I arrived there he like knew I was coming somehow. He showed me around and I finally asked him if it was true. he said he would tell me if I beat him in a duel. So I dueled him and won. He was so surprised that I was using your deck. It caught him off guard. Well you know the rest since I have the God card." "Well Takeshi, you proved you are able to duel like your dad so you can keep my deck." Seto says. "Dad keep your deck, I'm gonna build my own so one day we can a father son match for the ages." I say handing him his deck back. After that Seto left and I headed back for to my dorm to sleep.
