Sonic Boom: He's back

Prologue - the nightmare

Manic was fast asleep with his two little brothers who they shared a room with.... Sonic was sleeping on the right and Seelkadoom on the left... Manic was really spooked in his sleep.... he said while in his sleep, dude....what is this?

Manic looked around in the blackness as he said, dude....what is this?... Manic looked around for a moment but then a voice that spooked him said, well well well....how long has it been since we last saw each other?.... in panic Manic said, wh..WHOS THERE! No answer... Manic looked quickly... he put on his brace face and said, show yourself you coward...where are you?...come out and fight... the voice said, hehehe...how long has it been since my dad died?...been so long hasn't it?...brother... He recalls an image of Sonic and Seelkadoom when they were five hugging each other. Manic said skeptically, wait a minute....Scourge? The voice said from behind, who else would it be?... he turns around to see a green hedgehog in shades, fingerless gloves, green and black boots, bandages around his arms and legs like Sonic, Seelkadoom and Manic, three marks on his chest, and a leather jacket... the hedgehog with a toothy and sickening grin said as he laughed, don't forget...I'm still alive....

Manic twist and turns as he said, no...no...I won't let you hurt them...you...you monster... Sonic and Seelkadoom were awake from Manic talking in his sleep... Seelkadoom turn to Sonic and said, Sonic you didn't tell your friends about him did you? Sonic replied, who?....*realized what he meant*...oh...no...I didn't even tell Knuckles about him...even if I did...he be asking me... Seelkadoom said, well that makes two of us....Sonia didn't tell them about him either...besides neither of us vowed to never mention him again... Manic gasped as he woke up to see his two little brothers looking at him in concern... Manic said in relief, thank Goddess it was only a dream... Seelkadoom said, have you been having a nightmare about him again?... Manic said, listen Sonic...Seelkadoom...we might not know it but...theres a possibility that your step-brother is out there still alive...so be on your guard you two I don't want the two of you to get hurt.... Sonic and Seelkadoom nodded their heads and said at the same time, okay we promise we will... Manic said, *sighs* Sonic I know it's sudden but have you... Seelkadoom said, no Manic he hasn't told his friends...we can't have them involved in it....if what your saying is true then there's a chance that Scourge might try to hurt one of them... Manic said, I realized that bro but lest you forget Scourge can get anyone involved no matter what so tomorrow your going to tell them Sonic....I know your concerned but there's a chance that he might hurt them... Sonic nodded and said, okay big brother... Sonic thought, oh...if what Manic said is true then....Scourge will hurt my friends especially Knuckles...oh Knux... Sonic said, I...I'm sleeping on your bed Manic... Seelkadoom said, same here.... Manic didn't care if they do sleep in his bed he's just afraid for his two brothers... Manic looked at his brothers as they went to sleep... Manic thought, I have to protect them both but I can't do it alone. He wraps his arm around them both as he drifted to sleep.
