Since I'm such a lazy person, I decided to have a time jump. So Anne is now 17. Enjoy!

When the clock strikes 7:00 am, I stare at my window. Theres only a week of school left, and a month until the best part of my life begins. Adulthood.

All of my friends are coming over today. That it why I'm staring AT the window and not OUTSIDE the window. No one is out there yet, so I'm am going to sit down now. I even invited Tommy Bretton to my house and I am surprised that he say he'd come, especially since I thought he had a girlfriend still.

-5:00 pm, the party starts -

I'm sitting on the couch with a blue 5-layer dress and a glass of Apple cider in my hand. I stand up when Jazz enters the living room. "Jazz! Do I look okay?"

"Ouch so bright!" She responds then laughs a bit,"You look fine, Anne." Then the doorbell rings. It turns out that they actually know where I live, even though this house has no address. I open the door. Tommy! I blush. "Welcome."

"Nice house. It took so long to find this place...I almost got lost."

We both chuckle and the doorbell rings once we're finished with the tour. Bella is here. Then Jaclyn. Then Ally. Everyone is finally here.

Hours later, we're on the floor, chugging cider and playing truth or dare.

Hours later, we hear someone knocking at the door. It's dark, almost midnight, so we expect Tommy returning because he left his sweatshirt here.

I open the door, and two men just let themselves in. I see the badge on one of the men's black shirts and I immediately think run. So I do. Just like I do in every uncomfortable situation. Just like Mom.

Instead of running and running, I'm numb of all of the pain and the sounds and my vision. I stop. Nothing feels the same. I realised what I did was wrong. Running away was wrong. And finding home was even more wrong.

I fall backwards on purpose, and wait for the police. They're here. I have no reaction to this, except for all of the memories I've created with my mom and my family. I close my eyes and think was this just a fantasy?, and open them again.

"Anne...Anne!" I hear a loud voice. Mrs.Lauw?!? Tina?!?

I shout and scream,"What happened and where am I? How did I get here?!?" Tina explains everything, "We're in the hospital and you just woke up from a coma."

"Oh...that's deep," I say.

Mr. Lauw walks in the room with a smile on his face."You're grounded until you move out."

"When did I get here?" I ask.

"You fell after you tripped over a tree root. After that, you were brought to the hospital unconsious. Coma dreams are probably awesome," says Tina.

I'm never running away again.
